Chrono Trigger: I mean a real one not Chrono Cross.
Borderlands: If they get a good story this time at least. And you can kill Claptrap.
Secret of Evermore: With more fantasy zones and dog forms!
Fracture: Nice idea just make better.
Brutal Legend: Drop the RTS aspect though.
Portal: Made into a multiplayer game where you try to shoot portals at each other to make them fall into traps, off cliffs, into turrets, or drop things from holes on people and stuff like that.

Anyway, Brutal Legend.
...stop mocking me.
Sorry it's just that there is a thread with a title almost exactly the same. <Fact

I think we need a REAL Banjo Kazooie sequal. That game made up my childhood and I want more of it. Not some pile of garbage someone made >.>

Freedom Fighters. It was fun as hell, and ended on the perfect lead-in to a huge, badass sequel. Oh, and for the love of god this.

I couldn't agree more. I used to own Eternal Darkness on the GC (Actually, it might have ONLY been on the GC from what i remember), and ever since i've been left wondering why nothing came out of it. I suppose it never did get the credit it deserved...

I'd love to see a Star Wars Battlefront 3... not tecnically a sequel, since there isn't a story - but I think they could do amazing things on the PS3. (I reluctantly add 360... bleh)

AND uh hmn. Actually since SquareEnix is going all crazy, releasing sequels/prequels to FF7... I've always wanted to play through as young Auron/Jecht/Braska on their pilgrimage. It wouldn't make it as a big console game, but what about a psp game? =D

None! No games NEED sequels and quite often a game series is ruined by excessive sequels. I say to hell with sequels and give us more original IPs.

Star Wars: Republic Commando definitely needs a sequel. Seriously, LucasArts? Are you just gonna leave us sitting there with a cliffhanger like that? We would have gotten one by now, too, if it had sold better. Which it should have, it was not only a great shooter, but a frickin' Star Wars game.

EDIT: Ninja'd. I guess I skipped past that post the first time I looked at this thread.
YOU FRIGGIN' SUCK!

AND WHOEVER NINJA'D YOU! AND THE PERSON WHO NINJA'D THAT OTHER GUY!

...

What those guys and whoever else said that...that...

Confuzzled. Darn.

But yes, Republic Commando really, really needs a sequel.

Here's one for you: RLH (Run Like Hell). In fact, why don't they take it a step further and re-vamp the first game's combat system, so that people will actually want a sequel?

Oh, and I definitely second the motion for a new Eternal Darkness...hella sweet game. I seriously don't know why the Sanity meter never caught on with other horror games. Let me tell you, the only time I've ever sreamed in horror at a video game is when I thought my save game file was being deleted by the GAME ITSELF.

Shadow of the Colossus:

I think it was one of those games that show you how a video game can be considered art, and also it carried a deep meaning, all while screwing with your morality while you played! Truly a unique game that deserves a title on a new platform.
