Games that SHOULD HAVE a sequel, but don't

Fucking Star Wars: Republic Commando. My single most wanted sequel of all time, and the one least likely to get made. But damn was that a refreshing look at a world I thought had been milked dry.

Legend of Dragoon. Maybe a sequel would let you play through the original war kind of what the Lufia games did.

I want sequels for Battlefront and Kotor. Theres way too many references and hints in Kotor I&II to what was coming next, for them to just leave the trilogy hanging to dry. Lucas arts is a large company, the franchise has always been a cash cow for them, I don't understand what has prevented them from finishing the series off, for six and a half years.

Also, WTH Valve, get with the program already. Where the hell is the next installment of Half-Life?

OT:Warcraft 3 needs a sequel so badly

i loved war-craft 3, but i also think it's pretty-much perfectly evolved as it is
besides very minor balance issues you cant really improve it save for adding more units or improving graphical fidelity, which would most certainly negatively effect the overall feel of the game i'm not sure it would benefit from change, just my 2c ofc

i imagine blizzard will do it when they're bored of their world of star-craft mmo, that 'nobody' knows about yet.. 'cough'

Dynasty Tactics 2.

Koei take a break from Dynasty and Samurai Warriors and please make a sequel to the greatest turn-based combat game ever.

Also if Pandemic Studios are ever brought back from the grave then Battlefront III and Mercenaries 3 would be very nice.

Freelancer definitely, they almost made one and it was looking SOOOOOOOOOO good but they went broke :'( and Fallout 3 because FNV was basically just a huge expansion. I want Fallout 4 goddammit, and it better have a completely different engine because the current one sucks.

The Misadventure of Tron Bonne. The only reason why I want it to have a sequel because I want them to show people how to make a game that doesn't get repetitive and boring.

Kingdom hearts 3, not another fucking spin off, give me a damn conclusion.

I have only ever played 358/2 Days (I never really made an effort to play the other games, mostly due to not owning a PS2), but I can see where you're coming from.

Conker's Bad Fur Day was awesome, easily the funniest game I've played and the multiplayer was suprisingly addictive. Desperately needs an actual sequel, not another remake.

Shenmue II was truly brilliant, and although I don't remember finishing it (got stuck plenty of times), I'd love to play more.

Assassin's Creed II needs a proper sequel, Brotherhood could have easily been DLC... and I'll admit that I'm cautiously optimistic for Revelations, but that better be last game featuring Ezio and/or Altair.

Lastly, and quite obviously, there needs to be a sequel to Half-Life 2: Episode 2, whether it's Episode 3 or Half-Life 3 does not matter, by the end of 2012. There is really no excuse if we don't get either one by then.

EDIT: Perhaps not a sequel, but a spiritual successor to Viewtiful Joe 2.

Oh, and the character gets injured and you can see it., a bandage there, a blood stain here. It's truly remarkable that they could input that in a ps1 title. With the tech today, I wonder what they could do with it.

Weirdest Combination ever but: Jade Empire, Pokemon Snap, and Luigi's Mansion. I loved those games so hard.
