Games that shouldn't have been canceled

Sorry for the long title. And I did use the search bar, so if this has been done before please don't blame me.
Anyhow, what are some canceled games that you think shouldn't have been canceled and why?
I'll start:
Dirty Harry
A video game version of the original movie that would have let me gun down street punks AKA hippies. That would have been AWESOME. Spouting one liners and walking the line between bad cop and psychopath, that would be a dream come true.
The Dark Knight
I know that the game would have more than likely been utter shite, but still, it had potential. Driving and gliding around Gotham City equipped with batarangs in pursuit of the Joker and roughing up street punks AKA hippies. Awesome.

But it takes place in a closed area IE Arkhum Asylum. Rather than a sandbox batman game which is what I meant.

But on a serious note, there was going to be a game called sim mars, but it was canceled due to The Sims being really popular, and them wanting more develoupers working on the endless parade of expansions.

Secondly would have to be.. The Earthbound title for the N64DD, which also was canceled. I'd like to see Earthbound in 3d, but part of me also doesn't want to ruin what worked so well to begin with.

Ugh, Yahtzee's Duke Nukem Forever video is my reply to the pertaining posts. But on topic, I would have to say 8 days should have never got the axe. The E3 video (2007 I think) looked great, and the concept sounded even better. You had eight day to get from god-knows-where to Las Vegas. They showed some tech demo footage after the axe and the cover system looked fluid and easy to use. Shame they never got to actually use it.
