Games That Yahtzee Might Not Hate

I think we can all admit that Yahtzee is a slightly harsh game critic, so I'm going to try to compile a list of games that he thinks aren't a massive pile of zebra poo, and therefore are clearly the greatest games of all time. Help me if I leave one out or add one unjustly.

I honestly think that if he got over his "thing" with RTS, he would get a lot of enjoyment out of the Starcraft II single-player campaign.

That's exactly what I was thinking when I saw the list. Honestly, why does it matter what games he does or doesn't like? It's not like he's the definitive voice on what makes a game good or not. Sure, he does bring up some valid points about games, and has some interesting views, but that doesn't mean that we have to be all creepy-stalker like about it.

I think he should rectify that!

I don't think he hated Alpha Protocol either.

He didn't like Alpha Protocol because the changes to the missions didn't match up to his actions (Talk back to a co-worker? TWICE THE NUMBER OF ENEMIES IN THE NEXT LEVEL!), and also that it claimed you could follow any development path and still succeed at the game. So, Yahtzee being Yahtzee went full stealth...then ended up being forced to fight bosses with basically no fighting abilities.


Anyway...I don't think that Yahtzee really hates most of the games that he reviews. He does say that 'If I don't mention in ZP or EP, then I don't mind it.' or something similar.

Maybe, haven't watched the video in a while just remember being impressed that his review was less hard on the game than many "real" reviews when Yahtzee is usually much more harsh on games than the "normal reviews" thus to me it seemed he liked it. I only thought of this because i actually really like Alpha Protocol

If you're adding Bioshock you better add system shock 2 to the list aswell. Also Deus Ex is quite likely to be a game Yahtzee likes.

That is obviously because it's his number one guilty pleasure. (subtle bait for Yahtzee to review R&C this summer)

But I really think he would like it: there is no cover-based shooting, it's funny, there's platforming, story is nice...
