Edit: OT: I've always wanted some kind of RTS that allows for FPS. Halo Wars would have been perfect, like you create a Spartan and can take control of it if you want, then it's like playing Halo.

As far as i'm aware Beyond Good & Evil 2 is still in development (was due for launch dec 10, until one the main guys left)

I'm also pretty sure there is a new warhammer on the cards too.

Not heard a Bo peep about the Shenmue saga, oh and as for asking for a GOOD Star Wars game, well that is like looking for hens teeth

I would like to see a game that is to Call of Duty like Half-Life: Opposing Force. Meaning a game about World War 2, where you play as a German, Italian, Japanese, Bulgarian or Turkish soldier and you fight against the advancing Red Army, neighbor countries and the Americans. It would be a suppose-to-lose game, but I believe it would be awesome to be able to scream "Die Amerikaner!" (the Americans) and then start shooting at them with a machine gun. Vehicle sections for tanks and maybe some airplanes. It has an awesome potential to see the other side of things. Take over France, rush into Russia, lose the battle for Greece as an Italian soldier. Take over some of Romania as a Bulgarian soldier and on and on. Tired of playing the War from the same angle every time. The battle for Stalingrad was awesome, but it's time for some novelty.

It would have Amnesia-esque puzzle solving elements and limited weapons, so most of the time you'd have to use your wits to avoid being detected and subsequently eaten by graboids, shriekers, or whatever other nasty beasties happen to be about.
