I definitely wouldn't call The Wolf Among Us a relaxing affair...but enjoyable? Definitely. Telltale's been doing some excellent work the last few years, man.
On topic!
Relaxing games. Hm.
1. Visual Novels, the light hearted ones, are good for a nice relaxing time.
2. Some MMOs, like Eve, can be immensely relaxing with certain activities, that'll just let ya switch off for a while and dawdle about/explore.
3. I suppose Elite Dangerous can be pretty relaxing? Go explore. See the universe. Woo.
4. Been mentioned, but the Saints Row games, primarily 3-4, are good for just running about causing casual mayhem.
I'm honestly having trouble thinking of a game(s) that have made me happy throughout. It's usually only segments or certain dialogue or character interactions that cause those sorts of reactions in me. And I generally don't just play games to relax anymore. I want to be engaged. Sink my teeth into something with substance- I'm lying. A good shooter/blow'em'up/grindy mmo is perfectly fine still.
