Games with defense/barricading aspects?

I don't know why, but I really enjoy watching movies like 28 weeks later and dawn of the dead. Not because of the zombies, but because of the defense preparations the characters use. I always thought it would be fun to play a game where you have to collect supplies (food, water, ammo, weapons, etc.) and build defenses to try and survive onslaughts by whatever the enemy is.

There aren't many games out there with this gameplay. The ones that do only have it as a side game. Left 4 Dead and Call of Duty both have zombie defense maps, but I'd prefer something that lasts longer than 20-30 minutes.

Are there any games like this?

If you have "Land of the Dead: Road to Fiddler's Green", there are a lot of maps that you can download for multiplayer. I remember some maps having a "barricading" aspect to it.

Man, I loved the multiplayer in that game. Especially the "Last Man Standing" mod that Trin (I think that's their name) made.

try a game called dead frontier

also if zombies only lasts 20 mins then your doing it rong as one game for me last 3H (it would be longer but at that point my team queits

I was more talking about l4d defense. I've only played Call of Duty zombies once or twice.

Yea I've played them. A couple of great flash games.
