I'm totally into Dwarves for some reason right now! But I can't find any games with dwarves. I know there's Dwarf Fortress and Neverwinter nights. Are there any other games with Dwarves besides MMO's?

Dragon Age: Origins. You can play as a dwarf noble or you can play as a dwarf that is the poorest of the poor. Well then something happens and then you become a grey warden but you are a Dwarven Grey Warden. DA:O is one of my favorite rpgs.

If you're into CRPGs, there are tons. I think most fantasy CRPGs other than the Elder Scrolls Series has them. You already mentioned Neverwinter Nights. Besides that there are the Dragon Age games and the Witcher series (although you can't play as a dwarf in Dragon Age II or either of the Witcher Games). For older CRPGs where you can play as a dwarf, there's the Baldur's Gate games, the Icewind Dale games, Temple of Elemental Evil, Arcanum, and Neverwinter Nights II. The Warcraft games (i.e. the old RTS games, not WoW), have Dwarven units that you can build. Similarly, in Disciples II (and probably in the other games of the series, as well) there is a Dwarven Campaign where you play as Dwarves. That's all I've got off of the top of my head. Try looking around of Steam or GOG.com for more.

AD&D: Heroes of the Lance

I'm only recommending that becaus I'm a terrible person and I want you to suffer for my amusement.

Seriously. Never play that game.

Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy IV both feature dwarves as a major part of the game. In addition, those two games are simply great RPGs, especially the GBA versions. Check them out sometime!

Baldur's Gate has a dwarf or two... most D&D/AD&D-based games should have dwarves.

I think we more games like Dwarf Fortress but better graphics and more mainstream. That game should be like dungeon keeper but with dwarves and all you did was dig and build stuff into a mountain with a group of dwarfs.

Great suggestions!

I'd also recommend the Myth series, Severance: Blade of Darkness, and the upcoming A Game of Dwarves from Paradox.

Games focused around dwarves or simply containing dwarves? I'm going to assume any game where the player character can be a dwarf and/or contains prominent dwarf characters.

Baldur's Gate 1 & 2, Icewind Dale 1 & 2, Dragon Age 1 & 2, Neverwinter Nights 1 & 2, The Witcher 1 & 2, Age of Wonders 1 & 2, Disciples 2, Warhammer: Shadow of the Horned Rat, Warhammer: Dark Omen, King's Bounty, Temple of Elemental Evil.

There are a ton of older games, like the Gold Box D&D series, Master of Magic, etc. Also, Elder Scrolls might technically count, since they have extinct dwarves (Dwemer).

Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura.

Dwarves are kind of the masters of tech in that game. It's refreshing to see their typical industriousness manifest in gameplay.
