Oh Sierra adventure games, the point and clicky goodness, the odd gameplay decisions, and the TERRIBLE LOGIC. For those of you who are not aware, Sierra adventure games are sort of infamous for having the worst logic imaginable. Like opening a door with a piece of string and a rock.

But, what I'm wondering is what games have you, oh wanderer of the Escapist, played with this broken logic?

One such game to me was Dead Rising 2 with the survivors asking for money (To spend on the slot machines in the safe house I assume), and the combinations only have 1 formula instead of multiple.

EDIT: Just remembered the stupid logic of King's Quest, move to the left at the start? Well, now you're dead.

Probably the Discworld point and click games, they were so convoluted I don't even know what to compare them too.

Sierra games were horrible indeed though.

Did you give the dog your sandwich at the start of the game? No? Then you have failed.

Oh that one could be fixed, at least. But did you pick up the inconspicuous items in your bedroom at start? Well, enjoy the last turn if you didn't. And the entire Babel fish dispenser thing? That was downright cruel.

Though when it comes to point and click, no thread should go without the following exchange:

"Hey mister monkey, I'll give you this lovely gun if you let us pass!"
"Seriously, Sam? That's the best you can come up with for use gun on gorilla?"

Though that's from the TTG series, so logic got a little less insane trollish.

Bah, makes sense to a Terry Pratchett fan.

That, however, is a drop of the ball on Mr. Adams' account.

OT: Most actions of synthesis in a game make no sense.

I've read every single Discworld book lol.
Then I must confess to a passion for figuring out puzzles.
