I'm going to blanket this to most modern FPS games. If you don't count the multiplayer (I think like Yahtzee, the game has to stand up on its SP campaign first), then almost all of them are one shot, rental worthy time wasters.
There are exceptions, of course, like Bioshock and Fallout, which are compelling enough to play more than once and has a deeper plot than "There are some insurgents, kill them".
