First physical copy, the CD got cracked (literally) so I bought it new on steam.

Lord of the rings battle for middle earth twice

I made the mistake of trading my copy in... then I remembered that it's the most amazing game ever and realised my mistake. It's the only RTS I've ever truly enjoyed.

I have 3 copies of Mass Effect for the 360 and 1 for the PC.
A copy of Oblivion for the 360 and PC.
3 copies of Halo (one on the PC the rest on the Xbox).
2 copies of KotOR 2.
2 copies of World in Conflict.
About 4 copies of Rome Total War (because I somehow kept losing them).

Those are the ones I can recall from the top of my mind.

The only ones I've ever bought a second time are ones where the original discs don't work on new operating systems, or if I found a GoTY edition for cheaper than it would have cost to buy the expansion(s) I missed in the first place. System Shock 2, NWN 2, Duke Nukem 3D, the first 2 Fallouts, Kingpin, Freespace, Syndicate, Master of Magic, Arcanum...

I thought I'd lost the disc of spyro 3, so I bought a new copy. I've since found my original copy, so now I have 2 copies. But through a tragic series of events, neither copy has a manual, and I've never actually read the manual.

I lent my original copy of pokemon silver to a friend, and never saw it again. Many years later, I got a hankering to play it again, and ebay had my back. But I think the battery has died on my new copy, so now I'm waiting for a chance to get my hands on the remake.

Speaking of pokemon, I'm pretty sure I've owned 4 seperate copies of pokemon yellow over the years.

Hmmm tonnes of stuff I rebought on PC, mostly fps's.

Sonic Adventure and Sonic adventure 2 i own on everything. Sonic 1 through Knuckles too.

Just twice. I never got to play the GC version, I bought the PS2 version. Then I later bought it for Wii.

I've bought Spyro 2, Spyro: Year of the Dragon, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories (If we're counting Re:CoM as the same game.) Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus and Sly 2 twice.

Come this fall, I'll have bought Kingdom Hearts and 358/2 Days twice, and Chain of Memories a third time.

Ah, the PS2 version looks a fair bit worse than the GC version but otherwise is a better game (better controller imo, the GC controller is comfy but has too few buttons, a problem made clear by Twin Snakes), the Wii version is magnificent and shows how motion control SHOULD be used.

I bought Fallout: New Vegas twice simply because of Steam sales and mods and stuff. I also bought the Orange Box for 360 way back before I had Xbox Live so I couldn't play TF2 so I went out and bought a hard copy for $20. Also I bought Resident Evil 4 twice because it's simply a good game to have in my collection.

All three Mass Effect games, for the PS3 and 360. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops, for PS3 and 360.

The Mass Effect games because I love them (minus that joke of an ending) and I got 100% on both versions. The Call of Duty games because Target was having a sale: Buy Black Ops, get MW2 for free. DONE.
