Final Fantasy XIII (yes, 13, I enjoy the pace of the game)
Playing Secret of Mana right now. This game fires my imagination because I think it was entirely programmed by one man, Nassir Gebelli and he did it a short time. I remember him saying in an interview that he keeps it all in his head so if a game took him longer than a month, he would have trouble remembering it all. I take that to mean that he programmed this entire game in a short time and it is a beautiful game that performs well (except for AI characters getting stuck sometimes). Programming for the SNES was in assembly so a little more difficult than higher level languages used today. He said he used no programming tools like Merlin to assist him.
I don't know, I just can't get enough of this game.

I could play Goldeneye singleplayer and Perfect Dark multiplayer till the emd of time. Same with UT2004. Ideally I'll play through Mafia once every year. Just Cause 2 and The Saboteur are going very strongly and I don't see either of them slowing down for a very long time- even though I've finished Saboteur's story.
Dark Souls is great. I've made 4 different files, all of them NG+1 at least, planning a fifth.
I've replayed the Jak and Daxter, Ratchet and Clank, and Sly Cooper trilogies countless times.
Same with the first three Spyro games.
I love Final Fantasies 6 and 9 and have played them both a bunch accordingly.
Resident Evil 4 I have played a lot as well.
I'd play more Vampire: the Masquerade Bloodlines (I've made 5 files) if it weren't for the fact that I'm a huge wimp and the Oceanview Hotel (that's what it's called right) is a mandatory part of the storyline. I know how to do it, where to go, and what to pick up and everything. It's just the idea of turning a corner and the axe murderer standing right fucking there and then disappearing just as you freak the hell out. Funny thing is, other than the required run-in with him (where you see his feet moving behind some pipes), there are times where I don't even encounter him and I'm still paranoid to start a new file again.

Alas, I'm a dirty Xbox-playing peasant, pale in comparison to the glorious PC gaming master race. There's been nights I've just fallen asleep slingshotting across roads. It's glorious and probably mentally unsound.Reaper195 said:

When I was about 10; I received a copy of Ratchet and Clank. On the back of the box, there is a wanted poster for Ratchet, promising a reward of 6 million bolts; with my mind set on collecting that many bolts over multiple playthroughs, I played it all the way through about 30 times. At 14 I achieved the objective of 6 million bolts. Then my PS2 broke, but ho hum.
Ironically, I also have it on the 360, and have only played the modded PC version on my flamtates computer. ot it for about four bucks in the Steam sales, and hope to eventually be able to play it above seven FPS when I get a better computer.The Lazy Blacksmith said:

After so many years I still can't believe that I can go play the game and still find out so much about the lore. Not to mention it's like a Skyrim set in a sci-fi world, Freaking awesome.
