While I've got you here, favorite race? I like Castle because the Archangels are death incarnate and the Marksman's double shot.
Meh, Castle is too cheesy. Two shooters, one of which shoots twice. Solid all round units and heroes. And Adela. Not enough excitement for me. I like Necropolis and Dungeon. OK, Necropolis, too is cheesy on a larger map but I still like them. And the warlocks just fucking rock - Malekith can happily reduce armies to fine ash with a couple of spells.

System Shock 2 and Bioshock without a doubt.
I always end up finding something new every time I play either of them. They've got such wonderful replay value.

Oh, and Silent Hill 2.
And both Doom Games.

I've beaten Binding of Isaac about a dozen or so times. Granted, each time only takes like 45 minutes, but still, I've enjoyed every minute of it.

Borderlands is also one of my common games that I keep going back to. I've beaten it countless times.

Dwarf Fortress, though you can never actually win, losing is FUN!

Any strategy game with a simple resource system. (ie Supreme Commander 1, Rome & Napoleon Total War)
- Skyrim
- TF2
- Mass Effect 2 & 3 (I get frustrated with ME1's combat)
- Pokemon Silver (Both the Remake and the Original)
- General Indie Games I get in bundles and then don't play for an age.

Right now I'm waiting for Enslaved: Odyssey to the West and Splinter Cell Trilogy Box to arrive with the mail(over 10 days late so far..) and for the maintence on LOTRO to end.

In response to the title that doesn't match the question; the God of War games. Can't get enough of them.

Still waiting on Guild Wars 2, Torchlight 2, Dishonored and Borderlands 2.

Are there any games you are playing right now?

I have been trying old games and puzzle games, but they are kinda not giving me the instant gratification right now.
Look its cliche, but its still so true.

Mass Effect. No bloody 2, no bloody 3, just Mass Effect. The other two seemed like, they were disposable to me, I can't really explain it, they were much more linear, much much much more linear imo, while all three were excellent, I've played ME1 probably 4 or 5 times, atleast 3 times to completion, and loved it just as much each time, couldn't do that with ME2 and ME3 (haven't tried replaying ME3, for obvious *SPOILER ALERT* reasons).

And then there's the obvious classic Final Fantasys (IV-IX), Crash Bandicoot series, Gran Turismo series, (might not count, no story and all), yeah thats the best from the top of my head anyway.

Persona 4 and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. I love those games, I can play them pretty much forever and never get tired of them.
And I like you for having pretty much the exact same taste as I do.
Add in Ghost Trick and Dark Souls.

Just a big battle with a emphasis on teamplay. Too bad there aren't many players now on.

Dark Souls, Resident Evil 5, and any Dynasty Warriors for me. I never get tired of the first two, and DW7 is brilliant for whenever I just want to relax after a long day.

Frozen Synapse is a really good one.
Puzzle/tactical top-down game where you control a set amount of commandos (a selection of machine gunners, snipers, shotgunners, grenade launchers, and perhaps one other type) in which you have to do specific objectives, or just take out the other team. Can be quite cool when playing with no visibility (i.e. you can't see any of the enemy team unless your swat commando man can actually see them).

Quite high replay value.
Second this. I've been playing a lot of PAYDAY: The Heist, have put in about 32 hours of gameplay into 7 different about 20 minute long missions and still not bored at all. Also Killing Floor is fantastic.

The castlevania ds games
Those games are fucking fun,i have completed each at least 6 times and i still find them fun,Dawn of sorrow is incredibly broken(in a good way),and would probably be my favorite of the bunch, were it not for your slow running speed, you move slower than the plot of a final fantasy game.
Portrait of ruin is probably my favorite of the bunch, the story is somewhat lacking, but the gameplay makes up for it
Order of Ecllesia is awesome,it has the best story and art of the bunch, and has a very fun extra mode where you play as a guy that can do flying flaming spinning invincible kicks, can teleport around on the touch screen, has invincible backdashes and super jumps, and a gun

Also, the downloadable castlevania for 360 and ps3,castlevania harmony of despair
While your running speed amongst other things is rather slow at first,if you can get speed boosting items, learn the game mechanics, and level up your character decently, the game becomes pretty fun,it is also a co-op title, you can have up to 6 people playing at once, which adds to the fun
