Hey all,

I am looking for help to hopeful maybe get the name of the game i played when i was younger about 10ish so about 1990-1997, i have tried in past to find it but with no luck.

Ok here are th details i remeber

1. It was on atari st
2. it was a text based game with i think limit graphics on some screen not all
3. it was Americanised ie the things you have to type where american version of words like i would say tap but it would want faucet

now the game details i remember

4. i think you started in your bedroom could be kitchen or livingroom
5. you would go west i think to i think livingroom or bedroom
6. you would then go north and be in hallway with a door to the north and the bathroom to the west
7 the door could be only opened with the command open sesame
8. in the bathroom you had to find i think a umbrella then tune on the faucet (taps) to get a object
9 after you go back to the hallway and go out the door your outside
to the north is a curtain and you had to use a certain command to get past the ghost i think the ghost was one of the few screens you got a image on
10 details are now sketch i think to the east there was some sort of sewer and it was dark and you could easily gt lost in it

I've had so many of these before, but I found out most of them. Stuff like:
Really awesome cowboy FPS = Outlaws
Really awesome space shooter = Tyrian 2000

Probably the only one I'm trying to think of now is a space sim game where you flew down really tight irregular tunnels at high velocity from a first person perspective. It was the game that first introduced the word 'afterburner' to me.

Hi!

I am also one of those who found this website because of my incessant web search for this game I used to play when I was a kid. I used to play it on Windows 95, although I reckon it may be from 1998 or even 1999. I don't remember much of it, but I know it was kind of an action game. You had to control a character, human I think, who would transform into a spaceship to shoot enemies. I don't remember if this was the only way to do that, but I certainly remember having to transform into a spaceship. I think that as levels went by, you would unlock new and more powerful spaceships. This WASN'T a shooter, it was a side-viewed action game. Most of the time you would use your normal character to walk on solid surfaces. The environment was quite "futuristic", if that means anything. I personally remember a level which had a lot of blue and on the background you could see wires and chips and things like that. When I think of the game I always think of the color blue, maybe the character was also blue, although I can't be certain. My brother says he remembers a level in which the background had a lot of orange.

I know this isn't much, but it's the best I can do. It was a side-viewed 2D or a lame 90s 3D game, with a lot of pixelated shadows.

Can someone help me here? I honestly don't remember how I got the game, I think it was on a promo CD that came with a magazine but I'm not sure.

HELP!
Does anyone remember a game for PS1, I only had the demo and can't for the life of me remember the name of it. It begins (from what I remember) with really lively, fun music, and you have to go down this water slide and collect things. The slide is made of wood I think, and high in the air surrounded by trees and land. Then at one bit you're in a small village and have to go on a quest to find things - but as far as I recall that's where the demo ended.

I just remember it being really loud and bright, everything was bright blues and greens in the water slide bit. I think it was maybe from 1998-ish. Maybe earlier, I played it when I was 7 - that was 2000.

The music was so upbeat and fast, like a big fun adventure for 10-12 year olds.

Much appreciated!!! x

I'm trying to remember the name of this game for the original xbox. This is going to sound a lot like Doom 3 but I have seen Doom 3 and it is different. There is an underground lab or research facility. There was a problem in that lab where a scientist or someone was attacked or went missing. They send a few soldiers down into the lab to find out what happened but they didn't come back.

You play one of the soldiers that are sent down to try and figure out what happened. I think (not really sure) you go with a few other soldiers but they are attacked or infected by something and you have to go down further alone. I think the soldiers were wearing special suits to keep them from being attacked or infected by something. The levels are very dark and look like Halo or Doom 3.

I was watching a walkthrough of this game on youtube years ago, and one of the comments said it was a very good looking game for it's time but not very well known like Halo or Doom 3.

Hmm, I remember an another game, where you needed to build defences/offenses on the island (Rockets, energy generators, (Maybe somekind money generators (I do not have idea what they are)). Then you start attack phase where you shoot the rockets out to the enemies island.
The game had about 6 missions, on each mission, you needed to destroy the enemy. I remember that you could upgrade your missiles to double missile or something like that..

This game is probably sega/nintendo game (I have played it on Xbox (Jailbreaked one)) and it was either sega or nintendo game.

THE GAME WAS: METAL MARINES

----------------------

Another game where you was an Airport manager, you could build airports around the world (You could play that game with friend, against each other of course), you needed to buy airplanes etc. It's an old game, probably Sega game too.

I saw a cover to a dragon quest game and for some reason it made me remember a game I played, I think on ps1 maybe ps2 where you travel with this monster I think it sortof looked like a pig at the start, Im not sure if it changes or not, probably. and pretty sure it was pink. and it fights for you. I remember at the beginning you go into a town and another guy with a monster challenges you to a fight, and you go fight him when your ready and his monsters too strong and always beats you.
(also you can put a bet on the fight and I remember putting a bet on my monster to win and I lost so started again and bet on the other monster to win, but the bookey skips town during the fight anyway!)
Anyway I searched for awhile and couldn't find it anywhere, so any ideas?

I have been trying to remember now but all I do remember is that this game was available for pc and my dad and I played it on his laptop at the time (a dell laptop with that finger mouse in the middle of the keyboard) but here's what I do remember about the game itself:
You're some sort of masterchief type of guy in a space fps and there would be these evil dogs that you'd have to kill in one level (why do we always remember the dogs??). Anyways, there would be this room after going through what looks like a hallway that would remind you of the movie aliens and these little holes that the dogs would come out of. It was very much space fps probably done in the late 90s so from 96-99 around there. Thanks for the help!

Help, please. I have been thinking of this game for a week now. I believe it's an NES game. A side scroll ship shooter, however when fighting bosses I remember it being me at the bottom shooting up. You would collect points or money and could upgrade ship with guns and such.

The most striking thing I remember is that hte first or second boss was a large eye that was surrounded by a set of green or blue eyes . The smaller eyes circled the larger and you had to destroy them or shoot between them to hit the big guy.

Searched high and low but cannot find a name for this game. Please help.

I vaguely remember a game about some kind of magical space circus on the N64, where you went though all these weird worlds, like a sci-fi B movie one, and one on a giant cube that rotated.

Also some game where you where a robot who shot paint also on the N64.

Can't remember there names now though :(.

Help me please, ive been trying to find this game since forever. It was a Sega game that I played in the 90s. It was a side scrolling shooter playing as a human?, you could also do this Co-op with two guys. You could upgrade you weapons for the money you made during the diffrent stages and get like flamethrower or a better lasergun. You could spin your weapon around in a circle wich was very effectiv i remeber. Also you were not running on ground but flying. When playing two players you were colours red and blue... I Hope someone can derive something from my very vague description.

There's a PC game i used to love that was a bit like GTA but in space and nowhere near as violent. All i can remember is it was in a space city type thing with hover cars. There where police that would chase you around for trespassing and stuff, and you could sort of possess other types of character, with certain characters having access to different areas so you could avoid being caught trespassing.

I believe you play as some kind of robot. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Sorry if this has already been posted in here but I'm really trying to track a game down that I used to play on either PS1 or PS2 a fair few years ago that had a female character (and possibly a male one too) who you controlled. It was a one player game and although I can't remember exactly the purpose of the game she would randomly come across two items and say things like "Look John a Lei seed" or "It's a Buddha".

Sorry I can't remember more details, but if anyone out there happens to know this game at all it would be amazing!! My friends and I have been trying to track it down again for the past few years but none of us can remember what it was called.

THANKS!!
