Games you dislike because of a stupid/tiny reason.

This is harder than it sounds. I like to think my reasons for disliking things are always reasonable.

I guess I don't like comic book character games because I think most are corny, even if I have found quite good storyline potential in at least the movies that are made out of stories originally told in the comic form.

Sorry, this is very hard for me. >_<
I would go by the same idea (BTW are you ninja me in every though that I have? This is about the 7th time you do it!).
But i kinda do not like MW2 however, I find myself in between some people who tyalk about it ALL DAY and it has me very tired. I still have to play though, so I wouldn't day it would count.

I hated crysis with a passion for one reason, the graphics, dont get me wrong they are great but it was the arrogance of crytek going on and on in the previews and bla bla bla about how they are so amazing and thier game is so awsome and arrrgghhh. It got so irrational and stupid I found myself hoping that game would be an utter failure just to shove it in thier faces...

Of course then I got a PC that could play it on very high settings and fell in love... damn you!!!

Actualy while im here thats probably my most common and stupid reason for hating a game, developers and publishers who are so up themselves, even if the games not out yet I will end up hating it just because they are being so very arrogant and irritating (peter molyneux I'm looking in your direction!)

Any game on a portable system, just because they're on a portable system.

Except the first Pokémon games and Scribblenauts, which I've never even played.

In Max Payne where the y-axis was inverted and you couldn't change it. Sure, I could have gotten used to it, but I didn't feel like it...

I hate Left 4 Dead 2 because it came out before Half Life Episode 3. The stupidness of this hate is exasperated by the part where I don't even think the games are worked on by the same actual team, and thus, realistically speaking, L4D2 in no way slowed down the progress of Ep 3. But good god it still irks me.

Any game I hate because I am really bad at playing them. This mostly applies to 2D sidescrollers. I cannot play these games.

This didn't make me dislike the game, really, but for some reason I find the fact that Link has an earring in OoT to be distracting to the point of annoyance. I didn't notice it at first, but then I saw it one time, and now I can't unsee it. What's worse is that I don't know if child Link had the earring or not, and now I can't stop wondering how the hell he got his ear pierced.

I hate Bad Company series because enemies know immediately where you are, and have the ability to shoot you from unimaginable distances. The worst is that they aim for you and only you. The only times I've seen squadmates attacked is when they got hit by explosives intended for me.

I like to think I have good reasons for disliking any games but there are exceptions.

I turned off Two Worlds half-way through the opening cinematic. From what I hear I didn't miss much, but still, I bought the game and decided halfway through the opening that I couldn't play it.

Killer 7 because of the screwy way you shoot things.

Lord of the Rings games because I loved the books and honestly think that anything besides those books are insulting to a great piece of work. Peter Jackson came damn close with the first film though. EXCEPT FOR LEAVING OUT TOM BOMBADIL an error for which 10 District 9's couldn't redeem him.

Killzone, because Sony Fanboys ruined it for me by trash talking Halo and praising Killzone up.

I hate fanboys so much.

Yeah. I play that game less because of all the backlash that hit Mw2 because of it.

All these kids say its God reincarnate, when really they are all just very desperate to find a replacement for MW2.

I honestly find it way to slow.

OT: I dont play enough games to hate one because of a dumb reason, So it would have to be BC2, because I hate the online community that bitches about Cod.

I resented Mass Effect 2 when it first came out, because I thought I'd deleted my old ME1 save.

It wasn't until about a month later, I realised I still had it, so quickly went out and bought ME2. :)
Hah. That exact same thing happened with me. I was all upset because the game looked good and I thought I had deleted the save file, that when I discovered I had a file I was exhilerated.

Hated Mass Effect 2 for the PC because of it's lousy gamepad support. I was hoping it would be like Fallout 3 that had great gamepad support for the PC. For a lot of people, that is a dumb reason. But I was just too awkward. I've got to chillax on my couch. My TV is hooked to my PC. Another reason PC gaming is dying.

But I got the Xbox version now so everything is cool.

Killzone 2, because aiming requires pushing in one of the control sticks... It just feels weird and ruins for me what might be an awesome game.
