Games you dislike because of a stupid/tiny reason.

This is harder than it sounds. I like to think my reasons for disliking things are always reasonable.

I guess I don't like comic book character games because I think most are corny, even if I have found quite good storyline potential in at least the movies that are made out of stories originally told in the comic form.

Sorry, this is very hard for me. >_<
I would go by the same idea (BTW are you ninja me in every though that I have? This is about the 7th time you do it!).
But i kinda do not like MW2 however, I find myself in between some people who tyalk about it ALL DAY and it has me very tired. I still have to play though, so I wouldn't day it would count.
Is that me "taking" your ideas, or are you just finding that you often agree with what I have to say, hmm? ;P

Erm... Both? Or that you reply exactly the same thoughts, say one hour before me? Or you are my robot clone? Or that you just ninja me in everything (which in your case is not a bad thing)? Or all of these options?

I only dislike games when I have a reason to dislike them. If there isn't a reason, I won't hate it.
mhmm that's generally how I feel, cuz even I don't like a game I don't usually go all out on hating it (even/esp if a lotta people like it, I'm not into flaming a popular game on any console/platform, opposing team or not lol)

I stand amused. ;P

OT: I also dislike all JRPG's these days and won't play them. Part of that may be because I don't know of any JRPG's that come out for PC, I am a closet ZP fan who decided to hate JRPG's because he does, or the more likely fact that they tend to be really boring and filled with mostly obnoxious characters.

Neat thread idea. How about this - I hated Mass Effect and Oblivion... because they were too big! Imagine that, I actually get a lot of content for my 50 bucks, and it's too much for me.

I'm amazed you haven't been flamed already.

I can understand that. I like my games to be a little linear, so I don't have to walk twenty miles to get to my destination. Or worst yet, there is no quest marker and you have to figure out where to go.

Plus, I don't waste a lot of time exploring, darn it!

LOL, this is even more amusing, I haven't played any JRPG's because I have seen none released in the PC! LOL this is getting incredibly funny :p.

I'm no really in hate with JRPG's however, as I have played none, so, I do not really have a reason to hate them. But they do not look like my style however. Maybe there will be one, that is, if it's released on the PC.
But I do not like any other RPG anyways, there are few RPGs that I liked, like System Shock 2, Diablo 2, Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines, STALKER and Fallout 1&2. Other RPGs, like Oblivion, Morrowind, Fallout 3, KOTOR, etc. I have not liked them, although I do like the idea of an RPG, but to be honest I liked more the execution of SS2 and Vampire Bloodlines, I think those 2 games really set my expectation really high of an RPG.

So am I, but I wouldn't care if I were. I dislike WRPGs in the same way that other people dislike JRPGs. So why should they flame me for my taste when I don't flame them for theirs?

I was going to say this but mostly because it felt like one long water level, and I hate water levels.

Being boring and non innovative is a stupid reason to hate a game? What's a good reason? It rapes your family?
Em I dunno there just isn't anything going for those two games really at all.

That's not a stupid or tiny reason. Without likeable characters you can relate to, most any game will fall flat.

My entry: I hated FIFA Manager 09 because it was... too green.

I don't like Dragonage because your character doesn't actually talk...
That's the second time I've heard that in a day; a guy I play tabletop RPG with said the exact same thing. Apparently, it ruined his immersion a bit. He just came off Mass Effect, and Dragon Age disappointed him hugely because of this. Everyone around you is just chattering away, but your main character is just lines on the bottom of the screen.
