Azurik: Rise of Perathia for the first Xbox. That was the first and last time I bought a game without looking for reviews of the product first. What a terrible waste of $50.
I hate that you can't kill civilians anymore. what made ACII so fun was clubbing those bards around the head with a mace and then trying to murder them and get away with it. Hell, i still have the game because it's hilarious to run up to fishermen and watch them stumble into the river, which i like to believe is filled with assassin piranhas.SaneAmongInsane said:ACIII
I wanted an epic 'MUERICA fueled romp through the world of Johnny Trumaine. Killing red coats in the name of democracy.
Instead... I don't know what the fuck was going on. I quit around the mission where I was chasing down the indian girl. It was just boring. Plus they got rid of the ability to slaughter civilians in the street. Why the fuck did they do that? So much of the fun I had in ACII was just walking around civilians, and slipping the knife into someones side then casually walking away,
That's basically me with King of Fighter 13... How is THAT the only fighting game I cannnot do ANYTHING good in that game? The game may depress me, but the Anniversary soundtrack makes it worth keeping it around to taunt back at it... like Sonic 06'... (And that will be the first and LAST time I compare KOF to '06... EVER!)krazykidd said:Blazblue Continuum shift extend. It's by no means a bad game. But good lord was a terrible at it . To the point that having it in my library made me depressed. The game beat me. Now i like hard games, i'm a masochist when it comes to games, but this game was doing more than kicking me in the balls, it was laughing and taunting me.
Later in the game it had a bolt gun that shot a Bolt that nailed someone in the wall and exploded. That was the best part of the game for me. The rest of the campaign wasn't that great. No one paid attention to orders. The Enquirer said:Killzone 3. I always bring this game up but I just couldn't stand it. I don't know how people thought that was at all a fun game.
Damn text, I cannot tell if you're being serious or being tragically ironic in this case...delta4062 said:The commercials always showed Altair stabbing his target, always. I have no idea why you thought otherwise.Rpground said:Assassins Creed...when I started up that game I soon realized how BLATANT the commercials were lying to me, I had visions of an open medieval world where you're an assassin taking up contracts to assassinate people in unique and interesting ways. Like make it look like an accident by making someone "fall" off a cliff or pin the murder on someone else killing two birds with one stone, start a war by murdering two opposing faction leaders and pinning it on one another causing huge conflict in the world thus creating more jobs for you but in turn cause A LOT OF SHIT TO GO DOWN!
What did I get!? A bullshit "Relive these DNA memories of your ancestors THAT EFFECT YOU OR THE GAME WORLD IN ABSOLUTELY NO FUCKING WAY BECAUSE YOU KNOW HOW THIS SHIT WILL END BECAUSE YOU'RE FUCKING ALIVE!" YOU NEVER LEAVE THAT LITTLE BLOODY ROOM YOU START IN FOR MOST OF THE DAMNED GAME, WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT!?
I'd not like they wanted to pull this twist on me later, no they just wanted to shiv me now and get it over with by pouring salt into the wound. I do not play games to play games inside my mother fucking game! Unless it's a side thing and is actually fun and has some baring on the game in some way like money or items fine, but piss off if you're gonna make your entire game this.
Why get invested in anything? EVERYONE IS DEAD,the only people that aren't dead are boring and unimaginative to say the least. Desmond was one of the WORST main character dudes I've ever played as, I would rather play FF13 and it's sequel and go through it's batshit insane story where it flat out tells you "This area for the next 8 hours is a complete waste of time other then to just level you up"...at least I'm interacting with tangible stuff and effecting the world in it's own terrible stupid way.
The lies and betrayal I took from this game will NEVER be forgiven in any respect...I spit on this game and glad I took it back as soon as possible, never again...that was my first and last buyer beware situation, now I always research the damned game I wanna buy before I buy it. I refuse to get bent over the table again. Good bye forever AC, hope you suffer with Hel for all eternity!
Its funny you say that. Two was the one I felt was the most enjoyable and interesting. 1 didn't feel the best and I didn't enjoy and 3 I feel was good but not as solid as the second. To each their own.Suave Charlie said:Gears of War fucking 2. Broken, broken game. I mean really, were they just hammered when making design decisions? It's like an entirely different team made it. 1 good, 3 great, 2 terrible.
To be honest I mean more the mechanics of the game. I played competitive so got very intimate with the control system and good lord it was horrendous. I hated towards the end of the game, title update 6 onwards, but then Gears 3 came out which I think had the best controls hands down and really highlighted the flaws in 2, ie Delays of War 2.Galen Marek said:Its funny you say that. The single player campaigns always suck in Killzone Games. I just play for the multi-player games. The military drama Guerrilla tries to create is such an immature mess. It really hurts to watch. In Killzone 3 you didn't even get a chance to get into the game because they cut away to a cut-scene every two minutes. Seriously...kilenem said:Later in the game it had a bolt gun that shot a Bolt that nailed someone in the wall and exploded. That was the best part of the game for me.
