Games you hate but don't know why

Have you ever played a game that you should like, just to realise you hate it but can't pinpoint the exact reason you hate the game?Im currently trying to get through Metroid other M , and i can't stand to play more than 15 minutes of it. The thing is I absolutly lover every other Metroid game that came out, The snes Metroids, the GBA metroid , the DS metroid, and the Metroid Prime trilogy. But i can't stand Other M, and i dont know why.

Has this ever happened to you ? Hating a game you should like and not know the reason you hate it ?

Also this isn't a 'Everyone loves (insert game here ) but i hate it thread' its really about game that YOU SHOULD like but hate and have absolutly no idea why.

The older Legend of Zeldas. I love the first and the other top-down games on the Gameboy and DS, and I love Twilight Princess, but for some reason I can't play the ones like Ocarina of Time.

You hate Other M because Samus's character changed from an independent woman to a whiny ****.

I don't actually hate any game without good reason, but I never understood the love for the Grand Theft Auto games. I always dick around with the helicopter and hit people at high speeds near the coast, but it never seemed like a good series otherwise.
