Skyrim. I was so excited for the new Elder Scrolls, and hearing Todd Howard saying that "there is in orders of magnitude more content than anything we done before" I was too excited about it.
But then I realized that the skills were less, the spells were less, the weapons were less, the armor types were less, the number of dungeons were less, the quest types were less...
While still a huge game,it wasn't as huge as Oblivion was. And Oblivion wasn't as huge as Morrowind was.

I thought id love skyward sword until whats her face in the sword came along. Fuck. That. Shit. Hand holding was so intense i couldnt finish the game. After the dousing took all the fun out of a simple game of hide and seek (plus the sword lady reiterated at least twice what hide and seek was AFTER another character explained it. Its fucking HIDE AND SEEK the NAME explains it why are you treating me like im brain dead). I was so patronised i didnt play again.

Guild Wars 2. After getting to 80 I usually get on now to start a new character and run through their first few story quests and play around with their skills before becoming disinterested in rediscovering the entire map over again.

Oblivion for me too. It's fun creating a new character, and I always have such high aspirations for each one, so many things I can do, but it never goes very far. Even when I choose to ignore all the main quest lines I run out of steam pretty quick. It's just so much more fun with a lower level character for some strange reason. My roommate must have started that game at least fifty times. Literally. But few characters lasted more than a day or two before he started over.
