I completely agree with you on RE5, but I completely disagree with you on RE4. Not that it matters, but did you give it a chance, or did you just die in the first village in the beginning +10 times, throw your controller in rage, and never play it again? Because I have a friend who did that and he has no idea what a great game he missed out on. It's also in the top 10 on many lists of the top 100 greatest games ever. Opinions are opinions though.Veldie said:I truly hate RE 4 and 5
IMO they ruined the series and changed it from horror to action and its not for the better
Intellectual property, in this case.EllEzDee said:Sorry, what's an IP? I was under the impression that it stood for internet protocol...ultrachicken said:I usually rag on Nintendo for their lack of new IP's, but I don't hate nintendo.
Haha that about sums up my experience and opinion of GTA IV, that and the dodgy combat system and the fact that your default movement was a leisurely stroll, and that the button to run/sprint (and this problem is probably exclusive to consoles) required the use of your thumb hence leaving you unable to move the camera while running.Neverhoodian said:I hear you, man. I can't stand GTA IV. I enjoyed San Andreas immensely, but IV sucked the fun out of it for me. I hated the "realistic" car controls that made me crash every time I went over forty mph. I hated the lack of a custom radio station. I hated how the story's first act was one long string of tutorials in disguise. I hated the lack of reliable "taxi missions." Most of all, I hated having to drop everything to go bowling or check out BEEG AMERICAN TEE-TEES with the supporting cast every fifteen minutes.Turbo_Destructor said:I often go on about how shitty GTA IV is because it's really popular and quite a few of my friends like it.
Thank God Yahtzee directed me to the light that was Saints Row 2.
Ah, awesome, cheers.ultrachicken said:Intellectual property, in this case.EllEzDee said:Sorry, what's an IP? I was under the impression that it stood for internet protocol...ultrachicken said:I usually rag on Nintendo for their lack of new IP's, but I don't hate nintendo.
Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Pokémon, etc.
I did try it and I will play atleast 5-7 hours before I will say screw it. I did beat RE4 but couldnt stand RE5 enough to finish. I had to struggle to play as much as I did of the 2008 Prince of Persia game I wanted to punch someone for how bad that wasResiEvalJohn said:I completely agree with you on RE5, but I completely disagree with you on RE4.
