I don't get games too often, but the games that I get, I play a lot (aside from the rare circumstances in which I get a game that I don't like), in order to get the most out of the money I spend on games. Mega Man X is probably my most played game. I must have beaten that game at least 30 times. I've also beaten Mega Mans 1 through 8 at least 10 times each. Same with Mega Man Xs 1 through 6. Then again, Mega Man games can be beaten within an hour or two.

Aside from Mega Man, the game that I've beaten the most amount of times is X-Men Legends, which I've beaten around 12 times. Though to be fair, the game has some good replay value.

I've played Team Fortress 2 more than twice.

Actually, pretty much any game that I get I play twice, unless it's just that bad.

haha, just kidding.

As for beating/completing/finishing a game;

Star Ocean: The Second Story
Banjo Tooie
Fable: The Lost Chapters
The first 3 Spyro games for PSX.

I'm currently on my first playthrough of Half-Life 2, it's amazing so far and if it keeps up or gets better I'll definitley be playing it again.

Earthbound has most replayed time for me. I don't have an accurate summary, but I know it's at least over 25.

Coming in at second is the Fire Emblem series on the GBA. I had fun picking new classes to play through, and using new strategies makes for the fun times.

Golden Sun and Golden Sun 2 were also frequent replays, due to my strange obsession with them during my middle school years.

Also, Chrono Trigger because I have played it on SNES, PS1 and now the DS. Not to mention the 13 different endings to achieve, and doing it multiple times on each system.

I beat mass effect 5 times (well...almost, I'm on the final battle on insanity)

I beat bioshock twice

I beat oblivion numerous times (I don't care to try to remember the exact number as they're spread out over a year and a half)

I beat every game in the banjo-kazooie series, excluding banjo pilot, at least twice(nuts and bolts only twice, dropped the number from 3 times)

I beat fallout 1 twice (that I can remember) fallout 2 at least 3 times and fallout 3 twice

a few gba games multiple times including some of those megaman games

speaking of megaman, I've beaten a lot of the megaman games a few times including some of the megaman x and legends series.

That's all I'm able to list...there's probably some others I'm missing like a kirby's dreamland or super mario brothers but that doesn't matter too much, those were pretty short and easy anyway.

I've played though The Force Unleashed three times, Devil May Cry twice, Devil May Cry 3 twice, Devil May Cry 4 twice, Halo 1/2/3 countless times, Ninja Gaiden four times, Kingdom Hearts and its sequel twice, the Metal Gear Solid games (except 4) numerous times, Zone of the Enders: The Second Runner five times (or more), Assassin's Creed twice, The Orange Box twice, Gears of War three times, et cetera, et cetera.

One nifty story of mine concernes my first play through Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requim. I was very close to the end of the game; I was playing as the firefighter. I came to the room where you had to use the red, blue, and green effigies, when I found out that I couldn't find the blue effigy. I looked up what the problem was, and as it turned out, I didn't do something numerous hours beforehand that would make that effigy available to me at that time. So I had to play through the entire game again.

EDIT:

Same. Except I got through that last battle on Insanity. God, I love Mass Effect.

Let's see...

LoZ: Wind Waker
Ocarina of Time
American McGee's Alice
Tales of Symphonia (How I treasure that game)
Kingdom Hearts (I and II)
Resident Evil 4 (Four times, actually. Never gets old)
Super Mario 64
Pokemon Sapphire (... Shut up.)
PoP: Sands of Time
Silent Hill (I and II)
... Would the Sims 2 count?

I'm pretty sure I've had premature Rheumatoid Arthritis since I was seven...

I really should pick up Code: Veronica and MGS3 again...

Lets see, I've played Tales of Symphonia 5 times, I'm in the middle of my second play through of its sequel, I've played through CoD4 2 times, GoW and GoW2 2 times, I've played through Halo 3 a few times as well, I've beaten most of the 3d Zelda games twice, and I'm on my second play through of the force unleashed, although I'll never beat the second boss.

I just remember I have played though the original 3 Pokemon games(red, blue, yellow) at least ten times together, and I'm counting them together because they're practically the same game.

EDIT: sorry for double post I accidentally quoted myself.

kingdom hearts 2 like 10 ten times mainly becuase my girl loves that her favorite characters are in it and everytime she gets stuck she makes me bust out the can of fenrir whoop ass....

I love CoD:4 and shun the exsistence of treyarch and the atrosity of CoD:WaW(they shouldnt be called developers... im not getting myself in that arguement on the escapist...) so I've played COD 4 like 20 times mostly on my favorite levels ghillies in the mist and one shot, one kill

Final Fantasy Tactics: 5 times
KOTOR II: Twice
Castle Crashers: Beat it as every character except the alien (and twice as the blue knight, once on insane mode)
Neverwinter Nights: Lost count
Portal: Twice
Grim Fandango: technically I've played through it once, and I've been planning on playing through it again for so long, but my copy is busted to shit, can't get past the first cutscene without it freezing
Halo CE: too many times
Gears of War: 3 times
FF9: 3 times
FF7: Twice
Chrono Trigger: Twice
Diablo: 3 times
Nox: Twice
Ugh... I can't list them all, if I like a game a lot, I play through it multiple times.

Age of Mythology and other RTS/ish games, mainly because it never feels the same.

Fable 2. I have only played it a couple of times but still enjoy it.

Crackdown. Since the story isn't that important the game just becomes a few hours of killing sprees, which you can do over and over and never lose that joyous feeling you get when you see ragdoll at it's finest.

Need for speed: Most Wanted, mainly because I like how the cars handle and racing games are easy to replay as they have very little story.

Fallout 3, just finished my second play through. Easy to go through twice, specially if you didn't walk back and forth over the map looking for every location.

Oblivion, same as Fallout 3. I've had about 7 characters, but never finished the main story.

That's just the ones I recommend, there's others I have gone through multiple times.

There are many games you should play twice but Oblivion and Fallout 3 come to mind. Every time you play it'll be different. I think even if you tried it would be hard to do the same things. The CoD4 and WaW campaigns were also fun to play through especially with friends.
