Games you unwillingly play?

Are there any games you don't really want to play, but still feel that you have to? I just started playing Resident Evil 4, and the tough control scheme turned me off a bit, but I felt that it was a challenge it had sent at me. Also, I borrowed it, so I feel guilty if I won't at least try it. People say it's a great game, and I feel a bit forced to play it cause otherwise I might miss out on something.

Evolution Worlds for the Dreamcast. A heinously generic JRPG.

It sucks now, but I wasted 7 years of my life on it. It would seem like such a waste to quit now.

Racing games that aren't Burnout 3 or Revenge: but my friends try and get me to unlock stuff for them.

I played through all of No More Heroes trying to figure out why all the critics liked it.

I played through all of GTA 4 because I thought for sure that the fun gta things would eventually get unlocked. Again I was disappointed.

The second half of Condemned 2. It wasn't nearly as good as the beginning but I figured A: It might get good again, and B: I want some closure. Neither came true.

COD 5: WAW I think its terrible compared to COD 4 and I really need to rank up in COD 4 but all my friends want to play COD: WAW. But they don't know that I'm gonna sell COD: WAW this weekend, tee hee.

I tend to feel this way about The Sims sometimes. It's a game I tend to play when I've got time to kill.

To me, it's just so goddamn repetitive.

But since I like to LAN a lot with my friends, I have no choice.
