As I sit down in front of my desktop, starting up Steam and getting ready to play whatever my little heart desires, I take a long look at my video game collection that had been collecting dust for a bit of time now. The "Dust Title Collection" included Guitar Hero(360), Monster Hunter 1&2(PSP), DDR(PS2),my WoW battlechest, and other shelf exclusives.
Usually, I wouldn't play any of these games, but under few circumstances would I play these games with fervor. I remember playing Monster Hunter solo and thinking "What a garbage game," but playing with 3 other friends not only made it playable for me, but a damn good time filled with hilarious experiences (and a couple fights).
Peripheral games like Guitar Hero and Rock Band were dead to me, but it seems that every party that I've ever attended had one of those two games. I decided to pick it up as well in order to better entertain guests and some of my Expert level friends.
Finally, I only picked up WoW after talking to a good friend of mine and realizing that, in his huge group of friends, he was the only one who played it. Sensing he felt alone and had no one to talk to about his experiences (not many basketball players play WoW, go figure), I decided to endure the monthly fee and give it a go.
I usually wouldn't play these games though.
