It's been done, and they were far from perfect.dstreet121 said:A game designed by Yahtzee. You'd think that would be a perfect game.
I've actually thought about something like this, and my answer is this. You are a regular student at Hogwarts school. You're not a main character or a side character. You are your own wizard persona with a customized character. You go to classes, you learn spells, you might be chosen for the quidditch team. Sounds boring until you remember what regular classes are like at Hogwarts. You'll learn spells, hexes, jinxes, potions, broomstick flight, and various other magical things. You'll play from a first person perspective, but there will be mirrors hear and there so you can still look at your guy or girl in the mirror. Also, you won't feel like you're alone. There will be hundreds of other students bustling in the hallways to get to their various classes and talking to each other and you and themselves. The castle will also be as accurate as possible down to the candles in the great hall and the moving staircases. No more of that secret chamber bullshit the other harry potter games pulled. If it wasn't in a description in the books or anywhere in the movies, it won't be in the game. Of course I would try to also keep referenced things in there like dragon study, so we might have to make up some new dragons. During the last year of school, you'll take an aptitude test for the magical job that you want. The job can be in any of the subjects taught in school and any of the jobs available at the ministry of magic. So you could take a job fixing magical pranks if you wanted to. Or you could be an auror or dragon tamer or possibly even minister. The game will take place at the time referenced at the end of the deathly hallows, so you might bump intoBobbity said:The Lord of the Rings: A good RPG.
