The Guitar Hero series as, in my very honest opinion, get rather boring after a while.
One Piece: Pirates Carnival. I think I got it out of a bin and at first it looked fun, cool, and all that other stuff but once I got the hand of it in single player town, I got bored 'cause I have no-one to play it with.
Kya: Dark Legend. This game is to controller-snappingly retarded and frustrating. The gameplay mechanics alone are just... well, stupid to an almost an epic degree.
The Sims 2. 'Nuff said.

THE NINTENDO WII!!!
Halo Wars
GTA: Vice City Stories
Modern Warfare 2
Assassin's Creed 2. This game I actually really enjoyed, but I finished the entire thing, achievements and all, in 5 days and i wish i would've just rented it.

The Orange Box, the only thing I liked was Team Fortress 2, and this was the PS3 version...Half Life 2 was immensely overrated.
It's PS3 WHAT DID YOU EXPECT.
You Hl2 is awesome. AND PORTAL. WHAT ABOUT PORTAL?!?!
Or did you just conveniently miss that little gem because the escapist LOVES portal?
PS3 or not, it was still on overhyped pile of turtle shit. I played Portal and never saw the "wow" factor everyone was on about.
This is nearly the exact same case with me, except that I didn't even want to continue Half-Life 2 after that beyond-broken second vehicle section, and I didn't want to play the episodes if I didn't finish the original.

I won't even comment on Team Fortress 2.

Portal on the other hand, was great. Real fun and a blast to complete...once.

Seriously, it's as appealing as a firework, it was a great experience the FIRST time, but since it's basically a 2 hour series of puzzles it's not as appealing after the first time because you already beat them.

If only I knew that Portal was the only game I was gonna like on The Orange Box I would have just bought the XBLA version, I heard it had additional levels.

Wolverine: Adamantium Rage (SNES) and this was back in the day when SNES games were 50 bucks... controller breaking anger doesn't even begin to cover it.

The only game I have regretted buying in recipient years is Modern Warfare 2.
Lucky for me I was able to sell it the second day it was out for the price I paid.
I did everything there was to do that first day, though I would rather have just never bothered.

Mirror's Edge
I actually enjoyed mirrors edge, but I got it cheap of a steam deal ^^

Saints row 2 on pc.. it looks like a good game but they cocked it up when converting it over and it lags like a s.o.b even on a higher end pc

Prince of Persia - Sands of Time. Got it for the PC over Christmas and the keyboard controls seem to make the game prohibitively difficult (as does having no experience with games which have a moving camera). I don't doubt that the console version is good but the PC one seems like a waste of money.
The PC controls are seriously terrible. Console version is a dream though. If you own a USB gamepad, try that.

Maelstrom on the pc, wow that game blew hard. Played it for about 10 minutes then it went straight back to the store.
Mael...strom?

Am I so disconnected from modern gaming, that this glitchy ass DOS game that was bloody amazing when it actually worked is what I think of:

Assassins Creed on PS3, it was an okay game, but when my friend brought over the 360 version to play his file and there was actually color/contrast and the framerate didn't drop every 4 seconds I got quite annoyed. Even more so since I had the special edition.

I'm ashamed to admit I bought the Avatar game. Even now it sits on my shelf and mocks me as my eyes fall on it. I usually avoid movie tie in's like a plague but I was convinced to buy it by a friend. What makes it worse is with a bit more work it could of been decent.

And although I didn't but it Uncharted 2. I can't for the life of me understand why it's so highly praised. I played it at my cousins house and afterwards I considered demanding the bus fare it cost me to get there back.

-Lord of the Rings: Conquest SU-U-U-UCKED.
-The Thing(PS2) was $5 of worthless.
-State of Emergency(PS2) bit ass.
-Silent Hill ANYTHING after #3.
-Resident Evil 5 because they aren't zombies anymore AND the story is pretty much copy/paste from Resident Evil 4. You'd figure that would be a good thing.
-And Dead Rising was a good game when I got it. I played the hell out of it and got the genocidist achievement and all but three achievements, but the controls suck, the camera is lame, the zombies pull 'bull-shit' moves, and the little text at the bottom of the screen... the age old gripe.

But a game that suprised the Hell out of me was Crackdown. It is short, simple, and mind numbingly stupid. I beat it in three days and then went, "Wow, that could almost pass for fun." Play it if you haven't. It's like $5 dollars at Gamestop right now.
