As a rule ive never bought a movie tie in. Franchise tie ins can be decent like arkham asylum or KotOR
Niether are directly based of any movies.
Some GOOD movie tie ins...
Spiderman 2

Wolverine Origins
Most Lord Of The Rings Games.
Scarface.
The Warriors (the best, brawler, EVER)
Terminator 3: Redemption.
Harry Potter and The Prisoner Of Azakaban (this game was pure awesome, something every other HP title since then has lacked)
Godfather 1 and 2 and more, but I can't think of them off of the top of my head.

The Wii console.

'Course, this wasn't my money, but I'd been hinting towards my dad that I really wanted an Xbox 360... instead he bought the Nintendo Wii. Then he bought the Wii Fit. And then... a whole onslaught of really shitty Wii games.
It's been sitting inside our cabinet in our entertainment system for a couple years now. It gets played maybe once every six months.

Ughhhhhhh. Frustrating.

First of all if your not paying for it you should be happy you get anything! Second of all the 360 is at least 100$ more than the wii! 3rd of all you spoiled bastard! My parents bought me one system the PS1 and i never got anything ever again! I had to work for everything else i own! Fucking kids these days..

I got Assassin's Creed for the DS and I kinda expected it to not be great but I didn't think it would be that bad.

Best brawler ever? Im sorry that title goes to GODHAND! GOD POWER KEEPS MY PIMP HAND STRONG! Best brawler ever and the PS2s most awesome game of all time! Also that game is VERY VERY VERY FUCKING HARD! It kicks your ass but once you get good you never think of any other game as good ever again!

Dragon Age Origins.

I might as well have paid money for a year's worth of Tolkien's used toilet paper.

Godfather 2: I fell in love with the first one. Shitty combat system and all. And I love squad based games. Gets me in a nostalgic Brute Force mood. But this was the most disappointing piece of shit. 5 minutes in I put the controller down in disbelief. Enemies retaking diners every five minutes? squad members shooting priotity targets that you have to kill in a specific way BEFORE shooting at the cannon fodder henchmen? You would have to live in a permanent crack high to get any enjoyment from this log of shit.

Clive Barkers Jericho: I rememeber Undying as being a wonderful halfassed funny pc wonder, on the same shelf as duke nukem, and shadow warrior. Unfortunately Jericho decided to mix current graphics with back then effort. Another game I found myself 10 minutes in when you find your very first quick time event. Press X to JUMP OVER A CANYON. that is two feet wide. and could be accomplished by falling forward. And because the caution was neither forewarned nor brightly enough coloured to stand out from the shadows surrounding it, I fell. To be spawned at the exact moment you need to press the quick time event. Only to fall, but for a fraction of a second shorter than before. Only to fall. Only to fall. Only to fall. Fuck it. Wrapped that shit back up, took it BACK to ebgames and left it on the counter and walked away. I'm using this as the "don't indulge youre childhood memories" tax.

It really is a shame to see threads like this, its not so bad when people actually explain why they didn't like the game but half the time all I see are people posting things no better than "It's shit, lol".

Devil May Cry 2. Worst $5 I ever spent.
Also Scriblenauts. I wanted to see how the interface worked out, but I didn't expect it to be quite that awful.

Modern Warfare 2. Its not a bad game, I just wish I hadnt bought it. It just feels like more of the exact same from the original MW, and not in a good way.

Here is the list
Bioshock
Assassins Creed
Gothic 2
Halo
Warhammer DOW2
Grand Theft Auto 4
Half Life Blue Shift
Say what!!!!!

i don't care for the others but Bioshock, assasins creed and GTA IV are good i think you should reconsider
Assassins creed was alot of me jumping around not feeling enthused about fighting.
Bioshock I beat but was just too uninteresting to me.
GTA IV just seemed like more of me driving around running ppl over and jumping cars off of things.
I just have trouble playing some single player games for some reason.

Singstar: a terrible waste of £35, make no mistake. Plus all those DS games I thought I'd have a stab at in Japan, but due to the fact they were in Japanese I could barely play them. Still, was fun trying, sort of.

Dragon age: origins, because it was pants,
Guitar hero: world tour, because it was pants,
Vampire: the masquerade, because it was worse then pants
Star trek online lifetime subscription, because it was exactly what i had convinced myself it wasnt going to be
Tekken 6, because its identical to tekken 1,2,3,4 and 5 (customizable costumes dont count as gameplay)

No doubt flaming will now commence, but if you want my justification, or elaboration of "it was pants" feel free to ask
