A Warhammer movie would be awesome, but there wouldn't really be much of a story, since the universe is generally set around killing, being killed, and even more kill.

Off the top of my head I was going to say the Neverwinter Nights series, then I remembered how badly the Dungeons and Dragons movies were. I'd have to vote for Warhammer 40k too, I'm actually quite shocked that there hasn't been one already!

But I agree they need to stay far away from games to movies. My favorite movie to game has to be Sweet Home. Actually that's the only good game that I can think of that was inspired by a movie.

Games to movies are awful. Therefore I wouldn't want to see any game I like made into a movie. Although I think if you got a good 3d animation company, to make a faithful recreation of Grim Fandango it could turn out well. But no liberties taken, just make the game into a movie, verbatim. Actually the more I think about it, that could make a really good movie. Just don't market it as a kids movie. The story and jokes are rather macabre, but if follows a pretty linear story line that you could probably fit into 2 or 3 hours. And it would be awesome, because it's all dialogue and character based, it doesn't have those moments most games have where you're wandering around and shooting people, there's constant story progression. Just have to convince George Lucas to give up his copyright and keep his fat hands out of the pie.

Valkyria Chornicles would be a great IP for a movie.... animated of course anything else would be unholy.
If you ment to be a live action movie then nothing comes to mind as a sure fire hit no one could screw-up.

But all a movie has to do to work is not use so many lame lines from the game say it once and get it over with. Max Payne for example, didnt have him flying around in slow mo for the whole movie thank god. Still a crap movie though

Actually, no, leave the good games be. If they're desperate for ideas for movies, go grab some game from a bin and make it into a movie. Since good game = crap movie, a crap game COULD = a good movie...? Maybe?

i want someone who actualy has a vague idea of the plot to make another hitman movie... apart from just taking a stab at, since 'birth' he was trained and just toy around with the rest of the details on a low budget.
