Arx Fatalis, Arkane Studio's very first game. Very interesting setting, very interesting game, I'd love a sequel, currently replaying it, never beat it but I hope to change that.

I'd like somebody to remaster/actually finish making SaGa Frontier.

Also, a legit sequel to Star Fox 2. I want to see Miyu and Fay in more stuff. They're speedrun heros, after all.

I'm still waiting for Lords of Midnight: The Eye of The Moon, not least because the gap-filler Lords of Midnight: The Citadel in the early 90s was bugged to unplayability. However, the creator died a few years ago; whilst the IP is with someone else who's made noises of maybe doing something, I don't have many hopes.

I also loved the Wizardry series by SirTech, but when they folded the IP disappeared off to some weird Japanese nonsense. Or maybe Arcanum by Troika Games, which will never be resurrected either. And maybe, just maybe, I might dare mention Half-Life 3.

Still waiting on my sequel to Jade Empire. Aaaany day now.
Look on the bright side - if we're in the business of "wanting sequels to obscure BioWare games," you at least have a better chance of getting Jade Empire 2 rather than Sonic Chronicles 2.

Not that I particuarly want or need SC2, and thanks to Penders it's almost certainly a legal impossibility, but still, y'know, unresolved cliffhangers aren't fun. :(

Gungrave - Before anyone starts, I know about the VR version, but I want a game that does not require VR.

Devil May Cry 5 - My prayers have already been answered. The same thing goes for Bayonetta 3.

A new Bloody Roar game. Bloody Roar 4 sucked. it had nothing to do with the previous games and try to put in a new cast characters that were boring and not fun. Either reboot the series or make a continuation of Primal Fury.

Final Fight. Now that Cody is out of jail in Street Fighter 5, I would like to see him, Guy, and Haggar playable again. Or at the very least, have a new cast and do 2.5D gameplay. I still want the taste of Streetwise out of my mouth.

Arc the Lad and Suikoden are two old franchises that will probably never get a sequel that I would really like to see get one. Both are really good RPG series with just great stories, though Arc is better at most of it's characters I think.

A few others have mentioned Splinter Cell which is the big one that jumps to my mind.

I would really love if the Condemned series got another game and proper ending. I think the first game was much better than the second but it still pains me that that franchise is sitting dormant.

A new Rogue Squadron. The original was a formative experience for me.

Let's see... That's all that's coming to me right now. Only other thing is I feel like we used to get more Lord of the The Rings games. I had great fun with The Two Towers, Returns of the King, and Battle for Middle Earth.

^This. It's rare that launch titles are that impressive, but Condemned was friggin' brilliant. I'd even settle for a remaster.

Quite a lot of games, since I haven't liked the gameplay direction most modern games have taken.
---
Sequel was planned (and I want one, dammit):
-
Anachronox
Arcanum of Steamworks and Magick Obscura
Startopia
Freelancer
Fallout 2
Dungeon Keeper 2
---
Want Sequel:
-
Harbinger (The only Hack'n'Slash {NOT SPECTACLE FIGHTER, Diablo is not Devil May Cry} with a Sci-Fi setting.)
Imperium Galactica 2
Lost Empire - Immortals (Awesome size and feel of the galaxy, needs better content though)
Impossible Creatures
Conquest - Frontier Wars
Star Wars - Knights of the Old Republic
Corsairs
---
Want Reboot:
-
Diablo
Sacred
Dungeon Siege
(All of their 3's were horrible in comparison to the 2's. Reboot from 2 please.)

Space Empires IV (V was..not as good.)
Sword of the Stars (II was..also not as good.)
Deus Ex (From the OG)
Vampire the Masquerade - Bloodlines
---
Follow-up on the way:
-
Distant Worlds
Beyond Good & Evil
Outcast
---

Psychonauts and Beyond Good and Evil are the two forgotten titles that I waited the longest for only to be rewarded with them being revived out of nowhere, so here's hoping the sequels are half decent. Even if BG&E2 looks nothing like its predecessor..

Outside of that I still wish that Swery had the chance to continue D4 or Deadly Premonition sequels, thought that seems incredibly unlikely now that he's left Access Games... As does seeing a spiritual successor to Silent Hill that isn't in the form of a Pachinko machine.

I may be missing something here but I'm pretty sure both have sequels.

Or did you mean "Better sequels then the ones we got"?

Indeed, yes.

Fallout 3 was okay, but I would have liked Van Buren more I think.

KotOR 2 needs a 3 more like the first. Not an MMO instead of a sequel.

Skies of Arcadia, preferably a sequel, although I wouldn't turn down a remaster. I know the Gamecube release didn't do all that well sales-wise but I'd still love to see it.

Same goes for a sequel for Jade Empire, and I'll throw Legend of Dragoon in while I'm at it.

Hah,it would be a great time to see a sequel of Comix Zone.
It is a great year for comic heroes after all.
Well, to be fair the protagonist is a comic artist who fought inside his comic book which he created.

So I guess maybe the same villain would break free from the comic book to have a sequel to the real world?

Okay, I totally agree with both of those. For some reason I just thought you meant a sequel to the first game in the series, not the latest game.

Yeah, I should probably have added a 2 on the end.
Also should have mentioned Van Buren with Fallout 2.
My bad.

I want a modern Blast Corps. That game was a blast, and one of Rare?s most unsung treasures. I also would like another A Wolf Among Us; the only Telltale game that had me hooked.

A proper Jagged Alliance 3 .... same style of 2, turnbased, tactical points, making a designer character. Maybe have it set in a more open-ended fashion of taking down a government, but you have multiple little factions jostling ... where quietly or directly you have to sort of manage their ulterior motives and rivalries with other groups so that they don't catastrophically weaken themselves.

That way you can really hammer home the idea of a General Tito style 'strongest of the strong, glue of the nation' type of weird take on a dictator. Like the idea of this guy that could actually hold together the body-politic, stop it just collapsing into perpetualcivil war, but you're paid to do a job so w/e. Almost benevolent in a Tito-esque sense. Like how the longer a rebel faction controls an area and scuffles with other nearby factions its general prosperity is reduced, local stores keep selling less, and general corruption increases reducing total gains. No such problems in government secured cities that you only just recently took over. So on and so forth...

Less; 'oh, the mine ran out of stuff.'

Deidrianna was a great villain, but she was obligatorily completely evil.

Don't go so dark as to make it lose its 80s cliche humour, its cheesy OTT presentation, its neo-noir background tracks, but enough to give it somewhat of a biting commentary.
