Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale.
One of the funnest games I've played in a long time.

I love that game, I got that day one. The game was Rock Band 2 trying out some of the exported songs (yeah I'm late)

So...yeah. I don't even play PC games and I'm on my way to download that. Thanks for the heads up.

I thought that game was decent. I would have really liked it if they didn't use the sky cam. Why bother designing the heroes and picking their outfits if their bite size on screen?

League of Legends, first game to really catch my interest and, at the same time, finish off what little attachment I had left to world of warcraft!

Eternal Darkness.
How did a Lovecraftian fan like me last this long without it?

It's actually kinda refreshing to play a game with NO combat tutorial (ok, there is one, but it's after you've already had to take down a few modest hordes so it's completely pointless) as opposed to modern games which don't take off your training wheels until you're like eight hours in.

Minecraft. Of course I bought it a few hours before the free to play weekend. But it was worth it.

I ask that about FPS' all the time. It makes no sense at all. The funniest part about Ultimate Alliance was how the devs were bragging about the graphics and how they got the textures just right on the costumes in an interview before the game came out. Good to know those millions of dollars to give Captain America mesh armor and Spider-Man cloth sewn textures were well worth it.

Pokemon games. My parents never wanted to buy me videogames as a child, thinking they were a boys' thing, and Josh wouldn't let me borrow his Gameboy (or any of the other consoles he had). So I'm just recently playing through the Pokemon games and catching up on what I missed as a kidlet.

I just picked up Splinter Cell: Conviction two weeks ago, and I'm loving it. I wasn't interested in it initially because I'd never really gotten into Splinter Cell games before - and then I forgot it had come out. When I saw it for sale I thought it was new - then realised I watched Yahtzee's review of it about five months ago. Derp.

I'm playing Starcraft 2 and Oblivion. I don't doubt many of you have done the same, two great games. I'm also waiting for New Vegas to come out...
