Ever see yourself getting into a certain game, but at the moment you're attention is somewhere else. For me it has to be Demon's Souls, I know it's a hard and brutal game but right now I just don't feel for a fantasy setting.

Another game is Dead Space, when I played it a bit I liked it a lot, but I'm saving it for October for obvious reason....=)

How about you guys?

Nothing. If I want to play a game, I just get it even if I am getting into something else. That is rare though, because my rate of getting new games is quite low, on average maybe 2-3 new games a year at most. At this point, i'm only waiting for some future releases.

I still haven't started Fable 2 or Blazing Angels 2. Gotta play through Oblivion the first time, Prototype again, Portal again, and Fallout 3 again.

Sometimes when I play RE5 I try to remember where I left off when I was playing it with my little cousins. I make sure to not go past that point.

I usually wait until night time to play FPSs or horror games. I want it to be nice and dark before I get into it. Other than that, not really. I don't have that kind of willpower or self-control.

I've been putting off playing quite a few games. I've got a backlog of around 60 games right now.

As far as specifics, I've been saving Resident Evil 4 and Gears of War.

Deadly Premonition. It's so weird, I want to play it only to have the experience (good or bad). Just don't feel up to it right now.

I feel the same way about Dragon Age. I just can't get into it with all the other games I have to play. I'll swing back and play it eventually as from what I've played I really like.

Also Blur. I just don't have the money right now (damn Japanese game prices...) so I'll be saving that till I find it on sale. (you can add Mario Galaxy 2 to that list, as well)

Waiting until I'm in the right mood for Uncharted 2. Linear games have very little appeal to me, even when they're impressive.

I feel like I'm not giving God of War II the attention it deserves (possibly because I just finished playing the first one a few days before I started the second and am a bit burned out on the series for now), so I plan on waiting to play it until I'm in the mood.

I'm also waiting to play Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time until I play its downloadable predecessor, despite hearing wonderful things about it and wanting to play it very much, simply because I want to play the games in order.

Alan Wake. Currently playing Red Dead Redemption and Alan Wake feels like a game I'll want to play from start to finish without interruption

Dragon Age and Mass Effect 2.
At the moment I have only a reserve PC with onboard-graphics(Geforce6100) thanks to a shortcut in the power supply of my gaming monster, which toasted half of my hardware...
And these games are unplayable on this machine, even with lowest graphic settings :-(

-EDIT-
More fitting to OT:
Got my C128D ready and wait for summer for our annual(!since 1998!) Summer Games marathon. 4 guys, a weekend of Summer Games and a lot of beer&booze ^^

Empire: Total War. I bought the game when it was new, and it is currently sitting unmolested, along with the rest of my DVDs. I'm saving it for when I get a new, not-shitty PC that can actually run the game.

I usually just play a game if I want to play it, but with Ikaruga, I really want to play it cause I love it, but I contemplate whether the feeling of failure from STILL not being able to get passed the second boss on hard after over a year of playing

Penumbra. I've tried twice, and chickened out. I'm waiting until I can stay up late consistently.

Red Dead Redemption, Modnation Racers, Demon's Souls and 3D Dot Game Heroes. Damn you exams!
I feel your pain, can't wait for these exams to be over. Then it's Heavy Rain, RDR, FF XIII and God of War 3.
