Starcraft battlechest 5 times over 10 or so years, I swear the disks decompose or something, I finally just got the digital one off of the blizzard website so I don't have to keep shelling out money for it, and because there weren't any hardcopys in town.

I bought Ocarina of Time once on the 64, then preordered Wind Waker and got the OoT/Master Quest thing, then got the Zelda 4 pack, so I have had 3 copies of Ocarina of Time so far (still have the latter two), never actually purchased a game 3 times.

Lemme think, I believe I've bought multiple copies of both Sonic 2 and 3. Two copies of Castlevania Symphony of the Night and two copies of Jungle Strike. I have a bunch of other things I wish to buy on Steam though, always nice to have a permanent digital copy of a game and all.

hmn AoM .. i lost the key to the first CD i bought so i coudnt play online, so i bought another one.. .then AoMT came out, but it dint sell in my country, only the gold one, so i had to buy the gold edition (its both AoM and AoMT) one, so techancly i bought it again *Face door*

You should do it. And I have kinda... I got given Morrowind by my step brother. After a while that disc got scratched by my little brother, so I bought it again. Then, in cash converters, I saw the GOTY edition for $20, so I was getting the two expansions for $20, plus a back up copy of the disc, so I bought that. Now I can't find any of them... may have to get it off Steam, hopefully it'll be on sale this weekend.
Also, I don't know if you were asking for advice, but you should buy it again lol. It's super cheap, and you never have to worry about losing the disc again.

I bought Timesplitters 2 four times. The first time I had it on PS2 then traded it in (I was young and stupid), then I bought it again about 6 months later. Since then I have lost that copy of it, and got it for xbox, before finding out it doesn't work on 360's. Fortunately it cost me £3 or something and it was still in its original packaging so I haven't opened it.

Finally about 3 months ago I bought it for PS2 again for about £4 and now I am happy again. Been a bit of a saga with that game for me...

I've got 4 copies of Worms Armageddon, and 2 of World Party, currently only hold one of each though.

Mostly because I kept leaving them at friends houses and realising I want to keep them there. They are awesome games to have a quick game of with friends, plus they'll get good if they own the game, and hopefully kick my arse.

I got fable for the xbox, then my mate nicked it so I bought fable the lost chapters for the xbox, then when I sold my xbox I bought it for the pc, then my sister nicked that so i bought it again for the pc.

And if anyone nicks it again I may go on a rampage!

I've never bought a game more than once. I keep my copies of games, and don't see much of a reason to buy games for my console and computer.

This. The only times I will buy a game more than once is if the difference is significant enough or for any other, understandable reasons.

I bought Warcraft III Battle Chest (Both expansions) easily over 4 times. I kept lending my copies and never getting them returned (2 of them) and I lost another one, and then there's the one I have right now.

Don't regret ANY of those buys.

well, i bought bloodrayne for the ps2, and then, I bought a PC magazine which came with the game if that counts. another time, I got L4d2 for xbox360 and after some time, I saw it on steam for 8? so I bought it again. I bought CoD:MW2 for the xbox twice, cos it got scratched.

Resident Evil 5 because of the co-op...and then the DLC (which was pretty bad).

I've ended up buying quite a lot of games twice such as Dead Rising, Borderlands and quite a few of the Conflict series on the original Xbox (Conflict Desert Storm, Vietnam etc).

I'm a bit of a sucker for (split screen) co-op games :/
