This. I'm a fanboy of HL2 but man, Half-life just didn't reel me in at all.Vivace-Vivian said:Half Life. Boring.

If you've never started at FF3 for SNES I can understand this position. FF7 ( which was the next installation, technically FF3 was FF6 in Asia ) was an improvement in gameplay, but very convoluted in story.Omrosa Samosa said:I don't understand the appeal of Final Fantasy games to tell you the truth. Maybe it's my limited exposure to them because I have a bit of a mancrush (can you have a mancrush on a game?....i'm going with disc-crush)on western RPGs. Or maybe it's the style I don't like but yea I watch people playing those games and I die a little inside
the thing about DA:O from helping my friends through it is they walk in thinking it's like Mass Effect, where your character build isn't that important. I loved it because it's just like KOTOR without the lightsabers =)kman123 said:I could never get into Dragon Age. No matter how much time I sank into it I never liked it. So I gave up on it.
+1 to this. I've played a -ton- of MMORPGs, ranging from stuff like Guild Wars and WoW to endless free-to-play MMOs (including the Shin Megami Tensei MMO, a game which I was near certain I'd enjoy) and, well, I fail to see the appeal in any of them. I'd play for, at most, a week or two until I came to the realisation that, unless you abuse the metagame as much as humanly possible, most MMOs just aren't that fun.Roxor said:I've tried a few MMORPGs, and quite frankly, I got bored with them after a couple of days, at best.
Yeah, I know some people love them, but I don't really see the appeal.
Damn you ninja...!Redem said:I'd say Oblivion, an amnemic storyline, a boring fighting system, lots and lots of void, nothing interesting goes on at all (you can add WoW, but I think its because I can understand that basicly they filled every need MMORPG-eger had and managed to flush the compettion had who can't find someway to change the genre)
LOL. I actually like Morrowind and reading this makes me wonder if the game has trained me to be accustomed to failure.madwarper said:Morrowind
I started with Oblivion and loved it. Then, I found a copy of Morrowind GOTY in a bargain bin and decided to give it a try. From the walls of text that's supposed to pass as dialogue to the fact that you fail at nearly everything (swing a weapon? you miss, cast a spell? it fizzles, mix a potion? you spill it on your pants), I just couldn't get into it.
Don't bother, the story overall is absolutely horrible(even for the usual JRPG stereotype), the only draw to the game is if you actually enjoy the game part.Big Bruce said:FF13, I simply didn't understand the whole fancy tattoo thing. Maybe I should of finished it.
