While commenting on the "First rail-gin game" thread, I remembed the GamesMaster show from channel 4.
To this day there hasn't been a better gaming programme. There was the enigmatic Dominic Diamond, the imaginative sets (Heaven, Atlantis, Deserted Island), the reviews, the news, the challenges and of course the GamesMaster himself - Sir Patrick Moore.
I couldn't possibly pick out a favourite from all that and it's a show I would really love to see return.
Memorable moments for me include the Tekken 3 championship, the giant pad-Parappa challenge and a Virtua Fighter expert using Kage to tear through a slew of opponents.
