Took me a while to find it, but this TV spot has been playing on Aussie TV, and it makes me laugh every time.

The gun kills them but doesn't leave them there, so the joke i that they get put in the toilet.

I just can't get past the fact that it was made by gamestop because I hate them with a passion but if it was made by another company I would find it mildly amusing.

I found humor more in the discussion and reaction between Shepard, Grunt and Thane. The fact that they ended up in a toilet is more of an amusing punchline.

Mass Effect 2 does a perfect job on balancing humor and grittiness. The game is very dark and some segments are plain terrifying (not in a horror way, but in a "holy crap, how can someone do something like this" way) but believe me, you'll laugh your ass off countless times, the dialogue in this game is brilliant.

As for the commercial itself, I don't find it very amusing (aside from the hmmm part).

And? doesn't stop the animation from being clunky just because gamestop made it rather than bioware themselves.

I get it. It aint makin' me laugh, but I get it. I see this one play all the time when i'm watching videos on adultswim.com.

What threw me off the first time I watched it was, having not played Mass Effect, didn't know what the toilets in that world looked like. So when they cut to the crapper at first I was like... what the hell is that thing? Am I supposed to be reading the PP2 on the side?

PP2... now that's kinda funny. I wonder what the PP1's were like.
