Gamestop Replacement Policy?

Long story short, a fine specimen of a human being tipped over my (original) XBox 360, accidentally of course, and now my disc is subject to a giant scratch circumscribed in the disc.

I no longer possess the receit, but would gamestop be nice enough to replace my copy maybe? >.<

For reference, the game is Dark Souls, been out for less than 2 weeks.

Without the receipt, I doubt you'll get a replacement. It's possible, and definitely worth trying, but don't get your hopes up too much.

It would be kinda unprofessional to refund things without any kind of receipt or the like... They would get screwed over a lot...

Is it just large or deep? If it's not too deep, you may be able to get it resurfaced for a small fee.

Gamestop will never do it, but Walmart will do it without asking any questions, because their employees just don't give a fuck.
