I have a friend who always takes picture of those serial keys with his camera phone. He just does it out of principle, and to feel rebellious, and has yet to use a single one of them.
Do what we do here in Sweden, keep the DVD and CDkey on the manual behind the desk. This means if anyone want to steal a game they will have to rob the store.
Why stores still don't have this as a practice is beyond me. As I'm being Cpt Obvious when I state that this is better.
I bought supreme commander box set for the PC from gamestop brand new. It didnt have a manual or CD keys and he told me I wouldnt need them when I mentioned this. I was doubtful and low and behold I did need them. When I went back to the shop they said they couldnt replace it and they asked if there was anything else I wanted. I said only my money back and went home and bought it off the internet. I almost never go into gamestop unless nowhere else has what im looking for.
I wonder if anyone here actually realizes that Gamestop doesn't sell USED PC GAMES
If you see a box that has been tampered with, what inclines an individual to buy it, I for one wouldn't.
