Hey y'all,

Was pottering around on the BBC iplayer about an hour ago and a came across a program called Gameswipe originally on BBC 4, the BBC's artsy cultural channel. Hosted by Charlie Brooker and featuring none other than the Escapists Rebecca Mayes, I decided to give it a bit of a watch and have to say its well worth a look.

Be advised though, ther are some extremely british accents involved. If your not used to a scottish accent for example you might have real trouble understanding anything said in the retro section.

haha that is a quality show! I love Dara O's lil segment in that as well! For those of you who cant see Iplayer you can watch the thing on youtube =)

Cheers for that, I wasn't sure how the BBC website would treat connections from outside good ol' Blighty. And yeah, Dara O'Brien does a sweet job too

I enjoyed the programme for the most part; though I did feel that it was pretty condensing to the viewer - of course this is expected, it being a programme dedicated to those that don't play video-game or only have limited knowledge on the subject, and as a result a lot of the jokes felt forced and weren't delivered as well as other Brooker programmes.
