I can't play the same game for more than a few minutes.
Normally something in the game, will remind me of a part of another game.

Example: while playing halo 3, I ran over a brute and it made me think of gta 4,
so I ended up playing gta 4, until using the cover system made me think of playing
Gears.... this goes on for a while.

Anyone else have this issue?

If I've played it before, I can generally only play for an hour or two without getting bored. Does not apply to MMORPGS, or most RPGs, or Civilisation games.

Well, I tend to not finish many of the games I play and move on to something else. Granted, it might have something to do with the fact that a lot of games are crap to mediocre...

Also, I am unable to replay a game more than once and I need at least a few months for it to get out of my head before I can touch it again. On the upside, I'm quite thorough and tend to discover most of the game's secrets on one playthrough.

And finally, I get bored with most multiplayer games inside of a few days. Kinda makes games such as L4D, TF2 and CS kinda pointless for me...

i have the opposite effect i can't stop playing a game until i finish it even if i'm stuck in a very difficult spot
