A friend jibed me today about "always playing games at work" when in reality I'm usually very focused when there's work to be done (I'm basically a secretary, answering emails/phone/walk-ins, and doing some file work.) Still, I do find time to sneak away to the internets to post on forums and play a Sporcle quiz or two.

During the summer, when there's less work here (I'm in a University office) I sat and played games on my computer here for hours on end, and my boss didn't care.

How does your boss feel about you playing games at work? Do they let you do whatever, as long as you've completed everything that there is to do, and nothing else has come up? Is there a strict "no screwing off at work" policy? Are you guilty of sneaking in that game of solitaire once in a while?
