Gaming Communities

Hello there escapists!

I was wondering if I could receive some help in finding a gaming community. I am an avid gamer and have done the pub scene for my whole life in all the games I play. I am honestly getting very tired playing online with the usual pubbers which usually include foul mouthed, immature, hateful, and small minded people. There is also something to be said about the joys of teamwork in games.

So I was wondering does anyone have any suggestions on any websites that have friendly, active, mature, and intelligent gamers that I could somehow try and join? (Please refrain from flat out advertisement if you can, I don't want to incur that wrath of the mods)

The type of games I enjoy playing online range everything from FPS titles such as TF2, and some HF mods such as ZPSmod and INSmod, to RTS games like Warcraft 3, Company of Heroes, Sins of a Solar Empire. I also enjoy League of Legends, although it can be a frustrating game.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

This forum is about video games, But from what I can see not about actually playing those video games together. Correct me if I am wrong.

Try the User groups.

If not I used to go to a clan called xARx... oh wait WoW decimated the clan, causing 40 people to resign, and another 300 or so to convert from FPS to WoW junkies.

Well then there is always my old TF2 clan. Oh wait, WoW decimated that as well, and I lost several good friends to it.

Well what about T()E ... oh wait they ALL converted to WoW.

And people wonder why I hate WoW...

Then there's always G4L... but too many jokes saying "Gay 4 Life" are flung around, and they only play BF2 .. (G4L stands for "Gamers 4 Life.")

Another thing, if you wish to continue using the site, please familiarize yourself with the quote function. That way we know exactly whom you are speaking to. Reply only takes you to the bottom of the so you can post.
