So I was playing the Sims 3 earlier (I know, I know, but I've played all my other games to death) and run into an amusing easter egg.

Long story short (for those that have never played the sims) my mad inventor created a time machine a travelled to the future, when he got back this message popped up,

After a good chuckle I got to thinking of some of my favourite easter egg's in games and wondered which little gems you decent folks have found.

Ok now discuss!

I think this easter egg is pretty neat

Always a good one, and with the bonus of being able to then throw yourself off said bridge!

These two games aren't very popular, but whatever. I was delighted to find a Jade Empire reference in Dragon Age 2. The character Varric talked about his crossbow's name, stating that Mirabelle had already been taken. Mirabelle was the name of a firearm in Jade Empire.

HA, I loved Sir Roderick Ponce Von Fontlebottom the Magnificent Bastard. Best NPC ever, glad to see Bioware has kept him around, even if it's his rifle (which was fun to use too.)

Other than that, the Assassin's Creed reference in the new Xbox version of Witcher 2 was funny as hell.

Bioware do love to have their little jokes between games don't they? And guess what, I love them all!

Fallout new Vegas with wild wasteland trait turned on makes for a pretty decent list of easter eggs.

Also In Skyrim, there are few references on Exalibur.
