i use the ozone radon 3k and an ozone mousepad (yap, i really like ozone), but i don't understand why somebody needs a special keyboard. mine is from logitech and costs about 10?. so, what about you?

I have a very cheap gaming headset. Don't know the name, sorry.

Too bad the mic's busted -_-
Well, I mostly use this only when I listen some music on my MP3. Good bass :)

I got a Limited Command and Conquer 3 Kane's Wrath DeathAdder Razer Mouse (Hurrah for EA lol), A logitech G15 and some kind of Headset.

All rather cheap but good though the Mouse is like...free because I won it at some weird EA action thingy.

Ooohhh Also a Razer Mousepad. Because it looked smexy.

Behold the might of my mouse! :D

I got a G15 off a mate at work cause he bought a G19 and didn't want it :p He usually buys Razer stuff up the wazoo. I got a Cyber Snipa game pad too but all my real peripherals are on Retro consoles, Game gloves, airpads, light guns, single handed game sticks, fishing rods, arcade sticks. I want the X360 mouse and stick combo but, that'd be wicked!

Having nice gear really makes you feel more comfortable I think. Also helps with customization of your game space :)

cheap stuff - logitec keyboard, brandless mouse.

But I use Skullcandy Hesh headphones for gaming for their quality and the fact I don't normally play games where there is use for a mic.

Using the original Razer Deathadder, y'know, before it got all shit, love it to pieces, though the wiring is a bit buggered after the years of use, so I'm thinking of ordering a Logitech MX518.

No special headphones or anything, just random stereo ones, and my keyboard...Stock, never saw the point in shiny, custom keyboards.

I used standard gear up till spring 2009, then my (then)GF left me and I had all this money I wasn't spending (what, you never noticed the financial benefits of being single?), so I got meself a Razer Lachesis, Sennheiser PC350 headset and Sidewinder X6 keyboard. All in all pretty nice, and for a leftie like myself, I can recommend both the mouse and keyboard. Being able to switch the numpad over to the other side was particularly nice ;)

Oh and I have two cheap 19" flatscreens (like, "40$ garage sale offer for both" cheap), but that's really more for university work than gaming :D

Some sort of Microsoft keyboard I nabbed off my brother, Logitech mouse and a cheap headset. It gives decent sound+microphone, so it does its job, although for some reason in Audacity it gives me a rather pronounced lisp when I don't actually have one IRL (and yeah, I went and asked someone about it after I heard my voice)

On my ancient desktop I have a Logitech MX1000, a basic keyboard, reasonable speakers, and a webcam/microphone.

On my laptop I use a little Logitech Bluetooth mouse (since I game on-the-go), built-in keyboard, and a really high quality Logitech USB headset (which I absolutely love!).

I have a lot of Logitech stuff...

On my PC, I have a Microsoft Sidewinder, a 10 dollar Logitech keyboard, and a Belkin N52 game pad.

For 360, I have a vanilla 360 wired controller, although I'll pick up an Onza as soon as it comes out, and a Tritton AX Pro head set. True 5.1 is bloody awesome, and I don't care too much about sound quality.

Edit- Oh yeah, and a 40 inch hot cathode LCD screen. As soon as there's an OLED number of similar size, I'll get that too.

Yep... I guess i'm a razer man... Though I just have a plain plantronics mic on a stand for the occasional game of L4D.

IMO mouse and mat are very much worth investing in, keyboard however... unless you use macro keys or something like that its not so important, so long as its relatively ghost friendly and the keys feel nice its ll good. I have the lycosa pretty much just for its looks.

I brought the 360 CoD controller, thats about it really. I have a headset but rarley bother actually using it, mainly was used during my WoW days. The most I have spent on gaming is my TV.

I had special nights with my black modded controller until my brother broke it...
(Cookie for the reference?)

OT: The only special gaming gear I have is a Halo 3 360 controller and that's going to be dieing very soon.

I've spent a ton of cash on all sorts of fighting game joysticks in the past, but for my PC it's just a plain cheapo mouse and keyboard for me. Maybe if I played more PC games I would feel differently, but I get all the performance I need out of the stuff I've already got.

plain ol' Logitech optical 2+wheel mouse... a Belkin keyboard with my favorite key layout, and a decade old Logitech joystick for flight sims and Mechwarrior games (it has a throttle slider and a z-axis twist!)... oh, and a Gravis gamepad pro (PS1 controller, basically) for emulators.

I have a stock keyboard and mouse. They work, so why get an expensive "gaming" one? I was going to get another mouse since I sort of broke my current one (bashed the left mouse button when I died in Mass Effect 2 once, now it only clicks if you press one part of it...). Backlit keyboards look awesome and I want one, but I am getting hardware upgrades soon, so it will have to wait...

I do have a logitech 5.1 surround sound system tough. It's kickass.

Also, I don't use headsets. I really don't talk to people online because they never listen to me anyway. And I already have 5 speakers. They drown out anything.

the old razer lachasis mouse, but I'm considering trading it in ... for then new lachesis ^^
I really love that mouse to piece's so there's really nothing that could replace it except a new version of it.

oh and the 5.1 headset from razer, forgot how its called ... its not lika a homecinema but still pretty impressive if you ask me
