So recently I bought the Turtle Beach Earforce PX22s gaming headset and was going to resell it but now I'm thinking I may want to keep it (seeing as how I need a headset of some kind) does anyone know how good this headset is and should I get something else and sell it or keep it?

No answers huh? I have a Turtle Beach PX5 wireless headset and it's pretty much the best headset I've ever used, but I tend to take very good care of my stuff, especially electronic things. This would explain why there have been a ton of complaints both here and online regarding Turtle Beach, including your specific model. One troubling review said that the plastic breaks nearest the ear cups [http://www.amazon.com/review/R1F0ZFXXLVETEC/ref=cm_cr_pr_viewpnt#R1F0ZFXXLVETEC].

Bearing all that in mind, I would sell your headset and get almost any other brand [http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2395840,00.asp]. The vast majority of the things I've read about Turtle Beach seem to indicate that I just got lucky is all.

Whatever you decide to get, oversized ear cups are the way to go, regardless of the brand.

I've been using the Creative Fatality headset for years now. Even bought a second one for when the first breaks. :) I think I've had the first one for 7+ years? Dropped it many times, ran over the cord, etc. Still works. It sounds really good and is very comfortable.

Note: I have the first version, with the round earcups. I checked out the newer one and the square earcups were not comfortable.

Cheers

No idea about the TurtleBeach, but I have a Logitech G430 and I quite like it. Granted, I haven't used it extensively as yet, but it's served me quite well so far.

From what I've experienced, Logitech has some very good gaming headsets that are incredibly comfortable, Sennheisers would also be a good choice.

Edit: As a word of caution, I would stay away from Razer headsets. Even with taking good care of the headsets, I went three years of using as many headsets from Razer.
