So lately Iv'e been looking for a headset that will work for both my Pc and my 360, after a doing a bit of research and looking into several different models, I still have no idea as to what I should get.

So I was wondering if anyone here has any suggestions, my price range is around $250.

Huh, well with that price range there are quite a few options. Right off the top of my head you could go with a Turtle Beach x11, I got a pair for 60, but normally are 70-80. Let me check online.

EDIT: Here we go! Once my x41's die (hopefully not any time soon) I will be moving to the Astro A40 system. 249.95$, and it works on Xbox,Ps3,PC.

What do you think?

Well, just for 360, I can reccomend any headset from the Turtle Beach line, but I'm not too sure if it'll work for the PC, too.

However Turtle Beach headsets are pretty unparalleled, having used one and been spoken to using one, the sound and mic quality is amazing.

The Astro's are pretty good, as well as Turtle Beach.
Alas, as I don't use headsets regularly, I can't really recommend anything past those two brands, as those are the brands I've played with.

I hate the new one that comes with the 360... the mute switch should be next to the controller like it used to be damnit!

250 dollars for headset??

Damn, mine cost 30 bucks or in that range...

But for 250 dollars you should get at least and eargasm and a weeks worth of housemaid services..

My Astro A30s work with everything with the Astro mixamp. And they are extremely comfortable. Sometimes i forget i'm even wearing them, unlike my x41s that make my ears hurt after a while. And there isn't any great difference in sound quality

I have a really cheap advent branded one from PC World I've been using on my PC for ages. In the past I've found quality and comfort are inversely proportional to cost :)

I don't currently use voice on my consoles, so I can't comment on that.

I can recommend this [http://uk.store.creative.com/products/product.aspx?catid=437&pid=16337&nav] for the PC. I don't think it'll work on a 360 though.
