I unironically love that. Three of my pleasures in life are Peter Molyneux claiming to revolutionize gaming, GRR Martin not writing his song of fire and ice, and Elon Musk destroying twitter.
A dual layer Blu-ray Disc only holds 50 gigs bytes of information. What the entire fuck are they making AAA games from nowadays?
EDIT: There's a conspiracy theory nowadays saying games do this deliberately so that gamers can't play any other game and I gotta say it's looking very plausible

They should make a game that fully accurately depicts WWII. Bet the people who decry a lack of realism in their WWII shooters would absolutely love that.
I’m no techie or anything but if I had to venture a pseudo-educated guess it might be due to the latest compression techniques and everything needing to be installed now anyways, which is where the decompression probably accounts for the true file size.
