Please Help Me, I am currently looking to get a new laptop for my bday (woooh), but I want a laptop that can run games pretty well, I can't afford anything like an alienware m11x, but I want to be able to play games like Dawn of War 2 and The Sims 3 without lag. Please Help!!!

A friend of mine has one of the lenovo ThinkPads, whatever he runs on it runs pretty well (Heroes V, is one I can think of off the top of my head), but I'm not sure what model he has or what the price range is.

This seems a pretty silly request to put to a message board.

From the system requirements most reasonably up to date laptops will do the job.
Beyond that its personal choice.

It really depends on your budget but like people are saying most up to date laptops can run those games fine.

As a general rule of thumb, the more money spent, the better. That said, shop around. There are laptops for £400 that trump laptops at £450. What is your budget? Please be more specific than "can't afford an Alienware" (which are grossly overpriced for what you get).

Also, check out Notebook Check for comparing laptop graphic cards.

Like others have mentioned, you really need to give more info. Gaming laptops (at least for my experience) are very hit and miss in terms of what you really want out of it. And generally are going to cost you way more than a desktop of equivalent performance.
