Ok, little help here..

I am shopping around for a new Gaming Magazine.

Criteria: Is not filled with endless FPS stuff (greater than 50%)

While I understand FPS etc is a valid and popular Game style, it is not mine nor my wife's. We are both more Fantasy, MMO, RTS, Turn based Strategy, Diabloish types. Guns, shooting guns, getting shot at by guns does noting for us, nor do we want to "hook-up" online to Shoot at, get shot etc. After getting the latest PC Gamer and finding that 75% of the dvd was shooters.. it was obvious it was not for us and i might possibly be out of luck as my demographic is not the most popular..

So.. recommendations?

Well, since you already said PC Gamer is out, the Escapist is the only one I can think of that isn't confined to specific content.

Which kind of media do you prefer? Paper print or online/electronic? Most paper print gaming magazines (i.e. Game Informer, GamePro) cater to the mainstream crowd, which unfortunately includes a lot of FPS coverage.

Do you have a ps3. because the official playstation one is pretty good.

Another good one is Gamepro, seems sophisticated at times.

I read Edge now and again but they are hard to recommend for the sort of games you like.

Might as well save a bit of money and stick to the internet.

Game Informer is good, but does cater more to the FPS and action games than most others. They do have a good amount of content on other games, especially the big ones of course, and they do good reviews on all of the major games that come out in the month, but still a bit FPS centric, I think. Just a bit.

either this forum or Game Informer if you live in the US (outside the country the price of the sub is high!)
