Taking down the Tank in The Passing for Left 4 Dead 2, now I know that's nothing special by itself but my entire team got slaughtered by it and it was just me and him.

MW2, EBR with an ACOG, SPAS-12. Sleight of hand, stopping power and steady aim.

It was the chernobyl map near the end of the match, I'd gotten incredibly fed up with the whole enemy team persistantly camping inside the tunnel while my team with the lone acception of myself constantly running inside like meat to the grinder.

We were losing by a good margin when I got off my perch, ran down to one of the entrances, wasting the last of my shotgun ammo on ambushes the way there. Got inside, whipped out the sniper rifle and started plugging people. Aiming and hip firing, no bullets wasted, at one point I got 5 consecutive headshots. The enemy teams still piling in and explosions are all over the place and bullets are firing in from 3 directions and I don't know what's friendly fire and what isn't, shrapnel and dust all over the god damn place and I'm not going down.

I turned to one of the tunnels and 2 of my teammates finally make it in without dying, they've got machine guns and lmgs and crap and they're spraying next to me. 3 enemies run along the wall of the trench toward me. One jumps off the trench wall into the trench and I raise my gun to shoot him.

3 headshots...1 bullet, ended the match.

I got NBK, All Pro, finished the regular kill and headshot challenges for that sniper rifle, and I forget what else. It was a cascade of like 7 or 8 challenges but I couldn't even read them all because the match ended. ..There was a lot of bitching in that lobby.

Halo on easy

...

Also: Just Cause 2. I flew a fighter jet into the side of an offshore oil rig, parachuting out and landing on top of the actual rig. I planted bombs, parachuted off of that, killed several guards with an SMG, blew the tower and escaped in a boat. All without being so much as touched by any of the enemies there.

Completly wiping the whole blue team + sentry out in one übercharge. We were defending on the last part of dustbowl and they had a teleport to get to our last point real quick and the medic chose me to über, I rushed around the corner and killed every last one.

Either that or the round of Battlefield 2 that I played with a buddy of mine. It ended 0:1 tickets for our side. And it didn't looked good for us.

Had another moment a long while back. Versus mode in L4D. We got to the construction yard with the mound, where you have to climb on the white truck and go up the fire escape to get to the next area. A tank spawns when we get to the wooden plank bridge to the next building and chases my whole team back down to the mound and the fence.

He kills 2 of my teammates on the way there, and its just me as Louis and the old guy blasting away at the tank. A smoker grabs him and he's a goner.

The tanks charging me, throwing rocks, bashing a car around me. It was so action-movie it was unbelievable. I was in the middle of an adrenaline rush so I'm screaming like a mad man over my mic and my team thinks I've snapped and gone crazy.

I'm blasting away at it with a shotgun, he punches a car, it floats just over my head and I duck, I'm still blasting away and I'm ducking and weaving and getting behind him. I jumped off of a box and leapt over the car when he smashed it again.

In this time I had a hunter leaping around trying to pounce me but he was just failing terribly at it, the smoker was busy choking bill and I dont know what the fourth guy was doing but he wasn't there. Tank finally drops dead and I run back up the fire escape. Hunter's chasing my ass up the whole way. He gets to the bathroom up top and I blast him in the face and his body goes tumbling down.

I'm the only one left so I just bolt. Any grenade I picked up I threw down immediately and just kept running.

I make it a few yards from the safe room....boomer barfs on me. I turn, I shoot, he explodes, I'm stumbling...horde eats me.

Felt pretty damned epic on the way up though.

Mine would have to be in Oblivion. Killing twelve guards in a row with the difficulty slider at the middle is no easy feat. I managed to walk out of Imperial City. The feeling ended when I accidentally slipped off a cliff twenty feet high and died.
LOL, that sucks (the death).
I'd say clearing out 4 cities in Warfare mode in Armed Assault 1 without dieing. Considering each town often has 2-4 squads of inf, plus a few technicals, maybe M113's, possibly even a T-72 if its a large enough town, its no easy task. Ofcourse once I had cleared the last of the 4 towns out I walked across the road and a hunter 5t supply truck ran me over (friendly truck btw), I was spewing. Got it back tho, with an AT4 ;)

Somebody working on healing a certain green Dragon in Wrath Of The Lich King? :p

On topic for the thread...

I get that feeling all the time when I max out an RPG and have a character that is pretty much unbeatable.

Of course games like "Final Fantasy VII" are noteworthy in part because with say "Knights Of The Round" you can doubtlessly convince yourself your invincible... before you run into one of the "special" boss encounters. Final Fantasy is very good at this kind of ego building and busting....

Playing Mass Effect (the first one) as a soldier, once I get to about level 30.

It got to a point where I just stopped taking cover, even against Thresher Maws and Geth Colossi. I once stood toe-to-toe with a Colossus, not moving, just trading shots with it (while it's comrades continued to shoot me) until it died. That's not the good kind of feeling invincible, though, it's the disappointing kind (partially in myself, for taking the fun out of an epic battle).

Now I at least pretend to take cover, if only as a gesture. That's something nice about Mass Effect 2's changes- you can't get away with that sort of Boring Invincible Hero thing, anymore.

I recently won about $115 in a Super Smash Bros Brawl tournament. We played a 10 stock game and I used Marth. The last three people agreed to try and team up against me and I managed to take them out with two lives remaining.

Must have been back in the days of Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. I was the king, slaughtering every single player with my Mauser rifle.

Another moment would be annihilating the enemy team in Left 4 Dead.

Shadow of the Colossus, basically every fight in that game is epic, but my favorite was when I was struggling to find out how to defeat this flying monster. I was kinda young and newbie and I kept running away from him while he was royally kicking my ass... but suddenly I said "screw this" and just threw myself at him just to find myself grabbing his fur and riding his back while he lifted to the skies panicked and powerless...

In Another World when I dropped the cage on a guard, I found out I could pick up the guards ray gun. I was all like "OH IT'S ON NOW!! BRING IT MOFOS!!" The feeling didn't last long, as 5 seconds later I got blasted in the face by enemy backup and died XD

When I realized the Dead Ringer was way more awesome than the Cloak and Lamer.

The moment I got good with it my average KDR went up from .8 to 1.3.
Can't let you M1+W that PyroFox!

Getting the AC-130 in MW2. Ghost saying "AC-130 ready for deployment, call it in" is the most satisfying sound ever. 40 seconds of owning the enemies with little fear of retaliation.
