The megaman games usually have a kick-ass sound-track; especially the 8-bit ones. I've only played Megaman 9, but most of its music can be summed up as 'a metric asston of pure gold'. I think the Wily Castle 1 theme in Megaman 2 is also on the top of many people's lists, for good reason.
Half-Life also has some epic numbers; especially the 'Vortal Combat' music in HL2:Ep2, and the airboat chase section in Half-Life 2.
Oh, and the finale in Dark Carnival in L4D2 is frigging sweet, too.
Then there's some great numbers in Sonic Adventure 2 (I played the version on the Gamecube).
I remember the Crysis games having some damn good music to it; especially the menu theme from Crysis: Warhead.
Brutal Legend is pure gold as well, but since it uses an assortment of rock and metal music, that one's kind of a given.
