Okay, I have my PS3 and 360 hooked up wirelessly to my router. Cisco Linksys one. I opened all the required ports that both consoles need and that allowed me to play games with no problems for a little while.
However, I seem to be hitting a wall whenever I play the Call of Duty games. I can play with all my friends but one, and neither of use can figure out why. Both our NATs are open and we can play other games together, but none of the CoD ones. Black Ops says that I have an open NAT, but I can't join his party and he can't join mine. We tried to get around this by having a third person host the party, but as soon as my friend joined I was kicked. On MW2, it says my NAT is moderate.
So, my question is this: Has anyone else had this problem? And if so, did you figure out how to solve it? I read on a few forum boards that it's the type of router I have, while others say it's on CoD's end. I'm looking for opinions and facts on the matter please.
